This year, just like every year beforehand, the presenters’ bits at the Oscars were bigger bombs than Snow White, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and Tron: Ares combined. Can we please move on from Bridesmaids already? That movie sucked and was not funny.
However, there was one funny presenter duo, and that was Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans. Iron Man and Captain America were there to celebrate The Avengers 14th Anniversary, and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which comes out on December 18th.
Evans brought RDJ a signed script from the superhero movie as a present, but the latter forgot to get him something. However, with some quick thinking and Tony Stark money, he was able to get his hands on the thong that Channing Tatum wore in Magic Mike.
I am not sure if he got ripped off by one of those vendors on Hollywood Blvd that say they are selling you the real thing, but they are really selling you a knock-off. I mean, why else would the Oscar winner call it “The official Tanning Chatum Magic Mike Thong.”
Who is Tanning Chatum? I know Channing Tatum, but not Tanning Chatum.
It could be because Magic Mike lost his magic, and Hollywood can’t ever remember his name. Irene Cara’s song Fame lied to him. Back to Tanning. I hope he got his costume back before he hit the pole at some gross male strip club in North Hollywood.
Seriously, even with that blunder, that whole interaction struck Oscar gold.
The first trailer is out for the final Magic Mike movie, and I want to know how they can make stripping look boring. I don’t want to hear Salma Hayek and Channing Tatum talk; I just want to see them dance.
The problem with the first movie is that Tatum and Steven Soderbergh thought we wanted a plot, but we didn’t. It was like they were trying to remake Flashdance. But it was all dance and no flash.
So will I go see Magic Mike’s Last Dance when it comes out on February 10th? Considering that I haven’t seen the second one because the first one was such a disappointment, I think you have my answer. Will you be there?
I don’t know about you, but I thought Magic Mike was overrated. It was a typical Steven Soderbergh bore. Therefore, I opted not to see the second one, which was panned. So I thought that would be the end of those films, and it would live on as All Male Revue shows in Las Vegas and Europe.
I was wrong. Today, Channing Tatum announced that he is doing one more movie in the franchise with the director.
However, he did not say who will be in Magic Mike’s Last Dance. If Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello are not in it, is there a reason to make this film? It was kind of like without Matthew McConaughey, why did they do Magic Mike XXL?
It has been a long time since we have seen Channing Tatum in a movie, but he has a new one coming out on February 18th. This time, his co-star in the buddy comedy is a Dog.
Tatum, a former Army Ranger, is tasked to take a four-legged one to a funeral. Will they get there in time as their road trip endures plenty of obstacles?
Dog looks like the type of movie that will have you laughing, crying, and laughing and crying at the same time.
