Fred Savage was on Conan tonight and he admitted that he is a big sweater. Not that he wears an oversized one in the winter, but that he sweats a lot naturally. So much so, that one time when he went to the Emmys people were concerned for his well being. One of those people was Eric Stonestreet and the Modern Family star shared his secret to being cool on the carpet with Kevin Arnold. What is it this very cool secret? He wears a cumberbund of ice packets under his tux. Seeing how bad Savage was doing, Cam was willing to part with one of his ice packs to help out his new grateful friend. And grateful he was when he put it down his pants. Actually, he told the TBS late night host, “I was fantastic. Because I looked great and I felt excited.” And now I need an ice pack!
BTW Conan O’Brien revealed how Savage’s The Grinder co-star Rob Lowe manages to look so young and never ages. That secret is moisturizer and creams. In fact, the actor keeps them in pants to have them readily available.
Basically Lowe’s pants are filled with moisturizers and Savage’s are filled with ice, gives new meaning to what The Grinder is all about.
Sam Heughan was on Live with Kelly and Michael today and Kelly Ripa wanted to know if it is true that he is not a ginger. The Outlander star told her, “I am not a Gingy, I am a dirty dirty blond.” That revelation was too much for Fred Savage and the audience to handle.
What I want to know, is what else about him is also dirty dirty?
When it comes to the beautiful period drama, it will finally be back on Starz this Sunday.
As if this news wasn’t expected, but it is still great to hear. The Boy Meets World sequel Girl Meets World is coming to the Disney Channel in 2014. Ben Savage is back as Cory and Danielle Fishel is returning as wife, Topagna, and they are now the parents to a teenage girl.
According to TV Line the show will focus on:
Set in New York City, the new comedy series will tell the wonderfully funny, heartfelt stories that Boy Meets World is renowned for — only this time from a tween girl’s perspective — as the curious and bright 7th grader Riley and her quick-witted friend Maya (played by Sabrina Carpenter) embark on an unforgettable middle school experience. But their plans for a carefree year will be adjusted slightly under the watchful eyes of Riley’s dad who’s also a faculty member — and their new History teacher — and Riley’s mom who owns a trendy afterschool hangout that specializes in pudding.
Now that Boy Meets World is coming back, what other ’90s sitcom would you like to see come back with a sequel? I would love to Dinosaurs because that was my favorite, although that one could return as it was. It would be interesting to see what happened to kids from Step By Step and/or Just the 10 of Us too. Maybe the City Guys are now City Dads and their boys are going to school together? The possibilities are endless!
Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong aka Topanga and Shawn spent the night together and Cory’s wife and his BFF look closer than they ever did when they starred on Boy Meets World together. Can you believe it was almost 20 years ago that we got to know the 31 year old actress and 32 year old actor because they look great.
BTW am I the only one who wanted Shawn and Topanga to hook instead of Cory and her? Not that I didn’t like Ben Savage, I just thought they were a better pair.
Before Fred Savage was The Boy Who Could Fly, he was just a boy taking Pac-Man Vitamins. How awwwwdorable was the 5 year old making his acting debut in that 1982 commercial.
