The Good Doctor’s Richard Schiff and his wife have COVID-19
November 11th, 2020 under Coronavirus. [ Comments: 1 ]

Richard Schiff and his real and TV wife Sheila Kelley revealed today that they tested positive for COVID-19 last week. “On Election Day I tested positive for Covid-19. This has been the most bizarre week of our lives,” Schiff wrote. “@thesheilakelley is also positive. This is tough. We are determined to find a way to health again. We root for everyone out there who are struggling with this thing. Love from here.”

The actress wrote a little more about it. “We‘re quarantined in our home in Vancouver, recovering. This virus is a slippery sucker. One minute you feel almost fine and the next you can’t catch your breath. Symptoms change radically daily even hourly.” Kelly said. “For those of you who do not have this virus stay healthy keep practicing physical distancing. If you have Covid we’re in this together. Breath deeply. Breath slowly. Breath fully. We will get through this together.”

The couple is up in Vancouver, filming The Good Doctor. According to Deadline, the show has not stopped production, but they are working around his diagnosis.

This makes me wonder if they are actually filming in a house off of the set and not in the studio with the other actors. As of the first two episodes, we have not seen them outside of the home on the medical drama.

I also wonder if he contracted the virus when he was down in Los Angeles, filming the West Wing Reunion.

I hope they get well soon. At least they have each other to get through this difficult time.

Khloe Kardashian had KOVID-19
October 28th, 2020 under Coronavirus, The Kardashians. [ Comments: none ]

In a clip for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, we find out that Khloe Kardashian had Koronavis. She is fine now, but she was really sick when she had it.

Kardashian said, “It was really bad for a couple of days, vomiting, and shaking, and hot then cold. And I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache. I wouldn’t say it was a migraine. The coughing, my chest would burn when I would cough. And, I mean, my throat is still not fully recovered, clearly.” Then she added, “Let me tell you, that sh!t is real. But we are all going to get through this. Praying if we follow orders, we’re all going to be OK. May gd bless us all.”

Maybe by seeing her in this condition, people will start to realize it does affect younger people. They will also see that younger people can get serious symptoms from it.

Glad she is better now, and hopefully, she will use her platform to preach about prevention like wearing masks, social distancing, washing your hands, and getting the flu shot.

Since she is better, I will say something cruel. When I saw the headline, I was hoping it was now. Just because of her sister Kim Kardashian’s post yesterday where she was like, “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.” I would have laughed, like I said something cruel, if it invaded her island getaway.

Imagine if Kim used the money from this trip to help people who are affected by Korona instead of on herself? So many people would have food on their tables for a few nights. Sadly, Kim only cares about Kim. But this is about Khloe.

You can rent an AMC theater for $99 to watch a movie with 19 friends
October 15th, 2020 under Coronavirus, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

AMC

Have you been wanting to go to the movies but don’t feel it is safe because of the coronavirus pandemic? Well, AMC has you covered. You can rent a theater to watch one of their select movies with up to 19 of your friends. The best part is most of the films like Empire Strikes Back and Shrek are going for $99 plus tax. Newer movies like The War with Grandpa and Unhinged start at $149.

I forgot to see Jumanji: The Next Level when it was in theaters, and now I can do just that. I just wish they had the offer at Universal City Walk. I would walk over with my neighbors, vote, and then go see the feature. How much fun would that be?

I mean, who hasn’t dreamed of having the theater all to themselves? I have had that happen to me a few times. I have awful taste in movies and never see one the first week it comes out.

Coming 2 America is coming 2 Amazon Prime
October 13th, 2020 under Arsenio Hall, Coronavirus, Eddie Murphy, Prime Video. [ Comments: none ]

Most movie theaters are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. They don’t even know if and when they will open their doors again. Therefore, Bill & Ted: Face the Music, and Mulan skipped the theaters and opted to stream online. Now, Coming 2 America is doing the same thing.

The long-awaited and anticipated sequel will begin streaming on Amazon Prime, most likely on December 18th, according to Variety. The movie stars Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, Tracy Morgan, and Jermaine Fowler.

I bet if it does well, then Wonder Woman: 1984 and James Bond: No Time to Die will probably skip the big screen too. Would you watch these movies from the comfort of your home, or do you have to see the movies at the movies??

Saturday Night Live does more to get people to wear masks than the White House

Morgan Wallen was supposed to be performing on Saturday Night Live this week, but today they pulled the offer. The Country singer was seen partying over the weekend without a mask and kissing strangers on TikTok. That is something you can’t do during the coronavirus pandemic; and then expect to work on a set.

Wellan, from his hotel room in NYC, recorded a message of apology for his fans. “I respect the show’s decision because I know I put them in jeopardy, and I take ownership for this. I’d like to apologize to SNL, to my fans, to my team for bringing me these opportunities, and I let them down,” he said.

The musician realizes he screwed up big time. “I think I have some growing up to do. I think I lost myself a little bit. I tried to find joy in the wrong places and, I don’t know, it’s left me with less joy, so I’m going to try to work on that. I’m going to take a step back from the spotlight for a little while and go work on myself.” Then he added, “I wish I could have made country music and my fans proud this Saturday, but I respect the decision once again.”

As of today, he has not tested positive for COVID-19, but the damage has been done.

Can you imagine if DC was this tough on people who didn’t wear masks? Then maybe the president and his lackeys would not have coronavirus. Not only that, maybe we would not have cases spiraling out of control all over the country. Strange concept.

When it comes to his replacement, Variety says, as of now, they do not have one. Hopefully, they will go with Bon Jovi, who just released an album and live close to the city.
