I wondered why we had such a huge jump in COVID-19 cases in LA over the last few days, and now I know why. Tori Spelling and her whole family tested positive for coronavirus.
“Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it. We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was last to be symptomatic. We all were praying it was just a bad winter cold. But it wasn’t. Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That’s how it works,” she wrote. “But, we are all getting thru this together. I know we aren’t alone. So many are going thru this as well. Have gone they thru this. And, will go thru this. Thank you to my friend Chrissy @goodcarmacree who immediately dropped a care package of vitamins at our front door when she heard. So grateful to you! And, if I’m not responding please understand. Give me some time. We are right in the thick of it. For reference: This post took 45 min of starting and stopping to write.”
Hopefully, they will all be better soon. Get vaccinated and/or the booster, wear a mask, wash your hands, and social distance.
The omicron variant of COVID-19 is so contagious that it seems like everyone is getting it. That is how the people who are involved with Star Trek: Picard felt when they found out that almost 10% of the cast and crew tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.
Therefore production was shut down, and it is expected to resume tomorrow. Hopefully.
Personally, I know people have to work. But I think they should just take off January and let omicron run its course. I mean, when over 50 of the 450 people who work on the show test positive, I would be afraid. Very afraid.
And if you are like me and are afraid that Sir Patrick Stewart was one of them. Deadline is reporting that he is not. He better stay that way because he is a treasure from the universe.
Over the weekend, Rick Springfield tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 while he was on the road touring. Somehow he made it home, and his family made him dress for the diagnosis. They told him to put on a mask, “hazmat gloves and biohazard label on my jacket.
The Rocker sings about not talking to strangers. Now, he can’t ever touch the people he knows. Hopefully, he will be better soon so that he can experience the human touch again.
Even though Kotb has coronavirus, she wants us to know, “Feeling good.. ❤️ can’t wait to see you all when I am in the clear! Xo” Hopefully, she will be back at work next week.
Seth Meyers did Late Night from 30 Rock yesterday with a live studio audience, and he looked fine. However, today is a different story.
“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” he wrote. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”
Hopefully, he will be better soon. Because he is the best late night host currently on television, and we can’t afford to lose him. Plus, he has three children at home, including an infant.
