Rick Springfield and Dick Van Dyke put us all to shame |

It is not even October, but I have found my favorite photo of the year.
Here is the story behind that photograph: “Filming an episode of Men’s Health and I went to the gym and who should be there but 99 year-old Dick Van Dyke working out on every machine. Dick has lived in Malibu for about 30 years and is an awesome human being. I thought I was doing well at 76, but Dick got up from the chest press machine and did a little dance step before I left! ❤️ Amazing!”
If two of my childhood crushes, who are both over three-quarters of a century (one is a few months from turning 100), can still go to the gym, then what is our excuse for not going?
Oh, and yes, I would still give them both a workout if they asked. Because that is the only workout I do these days. And even that I don’t do.
Seriously though, how much do you love this photo???
One last thought: The singer is 23 years younger than the actor, which means DVD is old enough to be Rick’s dad. That’s all.

Back in the ’80s, teenage girls were listening to Rick Springfield, John Waite, and Wang Chung’s Nick Feldman and Jack Hues, but they never saw them together in a photo, let alone in concert. But 40 years later, those Jessie’s girls are getting both, so they have something to dance hall days about.
That is because they are on tour this Summer in the States with Paul Young, finally giving all those strangers they were not supposed to talk to something to talk about.
So if you want to celebrate youth again, then check out the dates for the I Want My ’80s Tour and go see them live and in person for their human touch. Because I ain’t missing seeing them for a memorable night. You don’t want to find out what becomes of the brokenhearted by missing your chance!
Oh, and they are all still fuckable! Can you believe that they are all in their 70s? They don’t look it.

Rick Springfield is working like a dog on the road. So, he stopped singing for his adoring fans for a few seconds and had some fun with Trixie and Tony at St Hubert’s Animal Welfare Ctr in Madison, NJ.
And just like most teenage girls in the ’80, they could not stop licking him.
I think we can all agree that when you have a kissing puppy in your life, love is alright tonite and every night!

Is Rick Springfield really 75? |

Rock Springfield has been performing in concerts since around 1975. Now that he is 75, he has no plans of slowing down.
And neither does his body. Over the weekend, the singer did one of his jumps during a concert, and that is a move most people who are 3/4 of century can do. Heck, men half his age can barely get out of bed without wincing. And he is jumping several feet up into the air without any problems.
When he started singing Celebrate Youth in ’85, he meant that he will always be celebrating it! And that is what we should all be doing. Something I will be doing after I take my bath with Epsom salt, Tylenol for arthritis, and my mid-morning nap. Oy!

Tomorrow is Rick Springfield’s 75th birthday. However, you would never know it by looking at the singer. Especially posing with his birthday present, a 1966 Major Matt Mason!
Can you believe he is 3/4 of a century? I don’t. And I will still do him!
