Chevy Chase has publicly bashed Community, got into a vocal fight with the EP that went public and then reportedly got into a fight with the writers over race issues written for him on the show and yet he stayed over Dan Harmon. Well that is no longer the case because according to Deadline, he is no longer with the show effective immediately. Even though the show won’t air until February 7th, they are almost done filming their season so he is in almost every episode.
No reason was given for his sudden departure or how the people who work on the show feel about. But I think we can all assume when their families ask them what they are thankful for this year they will say that he is no longer with the show.
Now that he dropped out of Greendale, can we go back not caring about him again like before he did the NBC sitcom?
Community got some much needed press as the season was ending, it just wasn’t exactly the exposure they were looking for. So when Joel McHale was on The Late Show, David Letterman took the opportunity to find out what happened between Chevy Chase and former-show runner Dan Harmon. He didn’t exactly give any details about that, but he did share the time he beat up Chase per Clark Griswold’s request. Let’s just say Fletch didn’t flinch and because of that he suffered shoulder. Seriously what was Pierce Hawthorne thinking? I mean he has seen Jeff Winger without a shirt so he should’ve known how muscular he is. Believe me I have studied those muscles and I know I am not the only one who went to Community College for that course.
Steve Martin Tweeted this photo of him with Three Amigos co-star Martin Short and someone that doesn’t look like Chevy Chase. In fact the Community star is now looking a lot like Gwyneth Paltrow. I really hope they weren’t discussing finally making a sequel to the 1986 movie with her replacing Fletch because then I would agree with what the Wild and Crazy Man who Tweeted “I hate my life” with the picture
Before Oliver Hudson was a guest on the late night talk shows, he was in the audience while his mother was a guest on the first episode of The Chevy Chase Show. How awwwdorable was the 17 year old birthday boy during that 1993 talk show appearance.
Before Chevy Chase was part of Hot Tub Time Machine Community, he was part of the Lemming community. The 29 year old comedian had one heck of hairstyle back in 1983.
