Before Carrie Ann Inaba was judging dancers on Dancing with the Stars, she was dancing on In Living Color. She looks the same now as she did when she was 23 in that 1991 episode.
On Wednesday, ABC made the tough decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel because they were being pressured by right wing media conglomerates Nexstar and Sinclair, who own almost half of the ABC affiliates, when they decided to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live from their air. Nexstar and Sinclair were rumored to be feeling the pressure from the FCC when the head of the agency went on a conservative podcast and threatened any station that airs JKL with fines.
No one expected the outrage that decision would make, so after four days of people protesting, subscribers cancelling Disney+ and Hulu, celebrity boycotts, vocal fan reactions, and a tumble on the stock market, Disney decided to bring back Kimmel.
“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” said an ABC spokesperson. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.“
By doing so, the First Amendment won, and the Trump administration lost.
Now that Kirk’s memorial service has happened, let’s turn the temperature down and get along! We live in the United States of America, not the divided states of America. We live in one nation, let’s remember that! Before it is too late, and it is getting to the point, which scares me, and it should scare you too.
Jimmy Kimmel Live resumes on ABC tomorrow at 11:35p.
Back in the mid-1980s, kids all over the world wanted Teddy Ruxpin. He was a teddy bear that could play cassette tapes and read your stories, play music, or you could listen to your dead relative’s voice.
He was one of the cool toys that required A LOT of batteries. So when the ’80s ended, so did his popularity.
But there is one man who still loves his talking teddy bear, and he is a big teddy bear himself. Who is it? It is The Rock, and now he is giving his old bed buddy his own movie.
DJ’s Seven Bucks has teamed up with Amazon MGM Studios to make a live-action film based on Ruxpin. According to Variety, it was pitched as Sonic the Hedgehog meets Elf.
I hope that Dwayne Johnson talks to Wicked Cool Toys about getting the rights to making Teddy again. They were the last ones to do so and production of him ended in 2019. Just some advice before they start production, make him rechargeable because not everyone has Rock money!
Some of the biggest names in Rock’n’Roll at the end of last century were Sammy Hagar (who was with Van Halen for a few years), Chad Kroger from Nickelback, and Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee. But we never thought we would see them in a picture together, but look at that photograph (yes, I know it is a video) of them. Doesn’t it make you want to jump?
And you know what would kick start my heart? Imagining the music we could get from Van Nickel Crüe!
Give them some Cabo Wabo and let them do their thing!
Taylor Swift’s dancer, Jan Ravnik, who was a fan favorite on her Eras tour, joined Dancing with the Stars this season, and he was teamed up with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jennifer Affleck.
Since it is his first season, he is trying out different techniques. For example, here he is testing out the Mr. Miyagi. Instead of wax on, wax off, it is wipe up, wipe down with your head.
Not sure how that will help her with her dancing. I guess we will have to tune in tomorrow to find out.
