Luke Bryan was hit in the face by a ball during a concert
July 28th, 2025 under Luke Bryan. [ Comments: none ]

via Rissway

Luke Bryan was performing at the North Dakota State Fair Center in Minot on Saturday when someone threw a ball at him. The small hard ball appeared to smack him in the face very hard.

Instead of stopping his song, Country Girl (Shake It For Me), he continued on and didn’t skip a beat.

The singer has not addressed the situation on social media. However, he did share a clip from the concert that was unrelated to the incident.

Hopefully, he is OK and not bruised because that looked like it hurt.

Dear Fans, I don’t know why this is so hard to comprehend, BUT DO NOT THROW THINGS (besides underwear) at the musicians. It is not cool, and it makes you look like a killjoy.

Oh, and like Monopoly, you will “Go directly to jail. Don’t pass Go.”

When will your favorite NBC shows be back?
July 28th, 2025 under Dick Wolf, Dunkin', NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Virginia Sherwood/PEACOCK

NBC announced today when their shows will debut for the Fall schedule, and they made one huge change.

The Hunting Party, which was supposed to air on Thursdays at 10p, is being held until the midseason. Instead, Law & Order: Organized Crime, which moved to Peacock, is returning to NBC on Thursday nights, with repeats that originally aired on the streamer. Therefore, giving Dick Wolf two nights of broadcasting: One Chicago Wednesdays and Law & Order Thursdays.

The network is also doubling up on comedies. St. Denis Medical and Happy Place will air two episodes on their respective days, Mondays and Fridays. I am not sure if that is a good plan or not. What do you think?

What I do think is that NBC has the advantage over ABC and Fox because they are airing more scripted programming than the other two.

Ariana Grande has come a long way since she played Cat Valentine on Victorious and Sam & Kate. She landed the role of Glinda in Wicked and received an Oscar nomination for her performance.

Because of that, she is in high demand, and Ben Stiller got her for Meet the Fockers 4.

Today, Stiller announced that the sequel will be called Focker-In-Law and who will be in the cast.

Robert De Niro, Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Teri Polo were all on one page, while Grande got a page all to herself! Just like Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, a star has been born!

I can’t wait to see what is next for her. But before then, she has Wicked: For Good this November, Fockers next Thanksgiving, and Dr. Seuss’ beloved Oh, the Places You’ll Go in 2028. Oh, she also promised some music next year.
