Rob Lowe played Sam Seaborn on The West Wing from 1999 to 2003, but he was written out in the fourth season. According to rumors, it was because his character did not have a lot to do, which was the case, as other lesser-known actors at the beginning of the show were getting better storylines.
There were also rumors that Lowe was unhappy about the way he was treated on the series in general. So when he was finally written out of the political drama, he sent everyone involved a gift. It was a milk carton with his face on it, asking if anyone had seen Sam Seaborn.
I have to admit that was brilliant and funny. However, at the time, I am sure he didn’t find it funny.
However, now it is 22 years later, and all is good between him and the people involved with The West Wing. Therefore, he can laugh at about it now!
Even though he was kind of screwed over by what happened, I think we can all agree that he is career turned out OK.
For years, we have been told that irregardless is not a word, and whoever told you that was wrong. This weekend, Merriam-Webster declared that “‘Irregardless’ is a word.”
What? As the dictionary people explained:
Unfortunately/fortunately, if a word is used with regularity
– by a certain number of people
– for a certain length of time
– to mean a certain and specific thing
It becomes a word, whether we like it or not.
So irregardless of what anyone or Grammarly tells you, it is word! So save this post and show it to anyone who contradicts you, then watch them try to wiggle out of it. How much fun will that be?
It has been over three years since we Peacemaker do his thing. But on August 21st, he is finally back on HBO Max.
In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is not afraid to go to strange new worlds. They have already done a musical episode and a crossover with the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks. In season 4, they are going to become dummies, as in puppets.
And I am here for it! Granted, we just started the third season on Paramount+, so we will have to wait a while to see this episode.
Here is a fun fact about the episode: the puppets were created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and it is directed by Jordan Canning, who also directed Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.
