Kelly Rowland thinks she’s still an A-List star
February 18th, 2024 under Rita Ora, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Kelly Rowland was supposed to host the fourth hour of Today with Hoda Kotb on Thursday but walked out on the show at the last minute because the dressing was too small for her liking.

So Page Six says the producers ran around 30 Rock to try to find her a bigger dressing room, but they couldn’t find one. And she thought she was too good for the only one they had. So she left the studio and the show in a lurch.

What to do? They asked Rita Ora who was going to be a guest, and she said yes. And as you can tell from different clips from the episode, the singer enjoyed every second. And didn’t mind the last-minute mask.

So Rowland missed out on the fun. Her loss was definitely Today’s gain.

Hopefully, Rowland will realize that she is a C-Lister now. She is like Nick Lachey and Joey Fatone. Without the band, you really are only good for Reality Shows and crappy movies.

Nicole Eggert goes short as she battles breast cancer
February 16th, 2024 under Nicole Eggert. [ Comments: none ]

Nicole Eggert revealed last month that she has stage 2 breast cancer and will be undergoing chemotherapy.

As we know, most people who go through chemo lose their hair. It appears that is happening to the actress because she cut her shoulder-length hair into a pixie today. And she looks gorgeous.

The Baywatch star wrote this with the photo, “Resilience is not just about withstanding the storm but also about learning to dance in the rain ☀️”

Hopefully, soon, she will be doing a happy dance in the rain because she beat cancer.

Lionel Richie explains why it was Madonna or Cyndi Lauper
February 16th, 2024 under Cyndi Lauper, Jimmy Kimmel, Lionel Richie. [ Comments: none ]

Lionel Richie released a documentary on Netflix called The Greatest Night in Pop about the making of We Are the World.

They share a lot of things we didn’t know about that night. For example, we learned that the producers had to choose between Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, and the boys just wanted to have fun with the latter girl. But they didn’t tell us why.

Yesterday, when the Commodore was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host asked him why. He explained, “Because we only had half a line to sing. Let me say this now, ‘A half a line!’ So we had to have voices that people knew right away.”

And let’s be honest, Cyndi’s voice is much more recognizable than Madonna’s. Plus, in 1985, both singers were equally as famous.

And Lauper almost thought she was too famous to do it. Richie shared with Kimmel that she told him at the American Music Awards, right before the recording, that her boyfriend didn’t think it was a hit. Thankfully, she didn’t listen to him because her half a line stood out.

And the rest is music history.

Oh, and Madonna was not the only one who missed out. Kimmel revealed that Eddie Murphy was invited. But opted not to sing along. And yes, he regrets it, as he should.

Is Richard Marx really 60?
February 16th, 2024 under Are they really their age?, Richard Marx. [ Comments: none ]

Richard Marx shared a video of himself drinking his morning coffee without a shirt, and I can’t believe he is 60 years old. Because it looks like Father Time has been right here waiting for him to age since he first sang Hold On to the Nights.

It is seriously a hazard for a man to look that sexy topless at any age!
