America pulled out of Afghanistan, CBS pulls the plug on United States of Al
May 11th, 2022 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

CBS is starting to swing the ax, and they yelled timber to United States of Al.

I think they are making a mistake. Not only is the sitcom funny, but it also has an important message. We were able to learn about Afghan culture through Al’s character.

You see, the show is about Al (Adhir Kalyan), an Afghan who worked as an interpreter for the US troops in Afghanastin. He met Riley (Parker Young), a US Marine stationed there, and he invited Al to come back to America with him.

The season 2 premiere dealt with Al’s family being caught in the collapse of Afghanistan, and Al trying to get his sister out of the country.

Chuck Lorre knows how to create shows that are loyal to their character’s cultures. It is a shame that CBS didn’t stick with it. They better at least stay with B-Positive, or I will be negative.

Before Troy Gentile was hanging with the JTP on The Goldbergs, he had a different group of friends on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody. How cute was the 12-year-old in that 2005 episode?

You better wear a mask properly around Patti LuPone
May 11th, 2022 under Patti LuPone. [ Comments: none ]

If you are going to see a Broadway show with Patti LuPone starring in it, then you should know you need to follow all the rules. If you don’t, then be prepared to feel her wrath.

Well, there was a woman who thought she could wear her mask below her nose in the front row and not get lectured by the Tony winner. Boy, was she wrong.

After a performance of Company, the cast of the show talked to the audience about the musical. LuPone saw the woman with her mask half on, and she had to say something to the woman in her unique way.

“Put your mask over your nose! That’s why you’re in the theater. That is the rule. If you don’t want to follow the rule, get the fuck out,” LuPone yelled. “Who do you think you are? If you do not respect the people that are sitting around you.”

The COVidiot responded by telling her, “I pay your salary.” I don’t feel bad for the maskhole for what happens next.

“You pay my salary? Bullshit. Chris Harper pays my salary,” LuPone explained. “Who do you think you are?” This time the woman said, “A patron.”

The video cuts off, but I am assuming that LuPone explained to her that the Broadway community has worked hard to safeguard all the shows so that they can go on. So by not wearing a mask properly, it puts all of their hard work at risk and the Great White Way will go dark again. Therefore, the actress is right. You don’t come into her house and not follow the rules. The theater is the star’s house, and the woman disobeyed the rules. I hope Broadway bans her from all future performances of all shows.

The actors and crew are doing everything in their power to keep the curtain up; the patrons have to do the same.

And seriously, how can anyone in this day and age think they can win against LuPone. I might be from The Bronx, and my innate toughness is no match for her. That is why she is so high flying adored!

Oh, and LuPone has a message for all the other people who think they pay her salary. To see what it is, then click here!

Has Adele hit hard times?

It has not been the best of years financially for Adele, Her latest album did not do as well as her other ones, and her Las Vegas residency got cancelled at the last minute.

Therefore, you have to wonder how the singer is making money. Now, we know. She is working at McDonald’s. Well, at least that one time she went there with her boyfriend, Rich Paul. However, if this music thing doesn’t work out for her, she has a future asking if you want fries with that.
