Robert De Niro was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday, and he played a game with Jimmy Fallon. One that we have played at least once in our lifetimes.
What is it? It is Hot Hands. However, the Oscar winner plays it differently than we do. The winner of the round punches the loser in the jaw. So that is what he did to the NBC host. And since they played several rounds, there was a lot of punching.
Eventually, De Niro ended the game with three hits, a 1-2 punch, and Fallon hitting the floor.
Something I am sure he enjoyed because the legendary actor is so much better than that skit.
Fans of Community have wanted a film, and Peacock is giving them just that. Not only will they get a movie, but all six seasons will also be available on the streaming service. Therefore, finally fulfilling the prophecy that the series predicted.
“‘Six seasons and a movie’ started out as a cheeky line from Community’s early seasons and quickly ignited a passionate fan movement for this iconic, hilarious and cool (cool, cool) NBC comedy,” said Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We’re incredibly grateful that 15 years later, we are able to deliver fans this promised movie and can’t wait to get to work with Dan Harmon, Andrew Guest, Joel McHale, Sony and our partners at UTV to continue this epic comedy for Peacock audiences.”
While Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong will all be back, Chevy Chase, Donald Glover, and Yvette Nichole Brown will not be. Who needs them anyways?
Peacock did not say when the six seasons and the movie will be coming, but at least we know they are coming.
Ian Ziering starred in 5 movies about sharks in a tornado, so I guess he thinks he is famous in the meteorology world because of it. Why do I say that? That is because he thinks they named Hurricane Ian after him.
Last time I checked, the National Hurricane Center pronounces the storm’s names as ee-an and not eye-an. So, I guess it wasn’t named after all. Narcissist much?
It has been 7 years since Trevor Noah started hosting The Daily Show, and he made a big decision. He announced on the Comedy Central show tonight that he is leaving.
The anchor didn’t say when he is leaving nor what he will be doing next. And I am sure we will get more information as time goes on.
My first thought is that he would be taking over The Late Late Show from James Corden, who is also departing from his late night show.
