Styx is going back on the road next month to celebrate rocking out for 50 years, and Tommy Shaw is getting ready to play the guitar for the band. How is the singer preparing to strum? He is playing with something else that has a string attached to it. What is it? It is a Paddleball.
Remember that game we played as kids. You know, the one where our parents would laugh at us when we hit the ball against our heads and cried to them in excruciating pain? Well, Shaw better not do the same because the band’s fans have waited long enough to see them live again.
If the Renegade wants us to keep on loving them, he won’t do anything that will risk his chance of us being able to sail away with them.

One last note, can we talk about how Shaw never ages? The 68-year-old looks the same as when joined the band in 1975.
Two months ago, Danny Bonaduce said he was taking a medical leave from his radio show because he was suffering from a mystery illness. He did not go into detail about what was wrong with him; he just said that he was having problems with his balance.
Over the weekend, the actor announced he was going back to work today.
Before Bonaduce got in the radio booth, he sat down with Good Morning America and opened up about what has been ailing him since April.
“I couldn’t walk at all. I couldn’t balance. I couldn’t do anything like that,” Bonaduce said. “She looked really nervous. And she said, ‘You’re not saying words, you’re not speaking English,’ which of course is preposterous to me.”
His wife, Amy Railsback, called 9-1-1 and spent the next five days in the hospital.
Bonaduce and his wife thought he suffered a stroke, but tests proved otherwise. Actually, they didn’t prove anything because he still doesn’t know what was wrong with him.
The child star is better now, and he is telling his fans to take care of themselves and be aware of any changes to their body that could be considered troubling.
Back in the ’80s, teenage boys wanted to think they were alone with Tiffany, and they were head over heels for Belinda Carlisle. However, they never saw the mall singer with the one from The Go-Go’s.
That was then, but this is now. Over the weekend, heaven was a place on Earth for those boys because the two of them were photographed looking as beautiful as ever. Can you believe Tiffany is 50 and Carlisle is 63? I don’t. And I can see why those no-longer-teenage boys are still mad about them.
Last week, we finally found out what happened to Corey Hart after he went missing in 1986. The singer, along with The Go-Go’s and Soft Cell, were slated to play Dorito’s Music Fest ’86, but they never made it. They were last seen in Hawkins, Indiana. With all the Stranger Things that happened there, we thought they were gone forever. They were not. And we finally got to see their concert and hear Hart sing two of his biggest hits, Sunglasses At Night and Never Surrender.
That was the good news. However, it hasn’t been all good news for the Boy in the Box because now he is a boy in the box in quarantine.
“Last week I tested positive for Covid-19 in Spain,” Hart wrote, “My first Omicron tango @ 01/05/22 was relatively easy but this latest variant is nasty & heavy footed – 😞 As we all continue trekking through a deeply divided universe – playing music somehow always makes my heart feel a little brighter. #InYourSoul Godspeed.”
Hopefully, Hart will be better soon. I mean, he was finally released from the Upside Down World, and I have wanted to see him perform live for decades. Now is my chance, unless COVID-19 is as evil as Vecna.
