The Bone Collector claimed NBC’s Lincoln Rhyme
June 11th, 2020 under Hulu, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

NBC has decided not to pick up the police procedural Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector for another season. The show was based on the book series The Bone Collector and starred Grimm’s Russell Hornsby. The drama moved slowly but doesn’t mean it was not interesting to watch. It is a shame we won’t find out what happened next.

NBC is not the only one swinging the ax. Hulu has decided not to renew Harlots and Reprisal.

BTWF: David Duchovny in New Year’s Day
June 11th, 2020 under Before They Were Famous, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Before David Duchovny was trying to understand The X-Files, he was trying to understand himself in New Year’s Day. He looks the same now as he did when he was 28 in that 1989 movie.

Can Jason Derulo eat 22 hamburgers in two hours?

@jasonderulo

Thought I’d post this draft from when I hit 22 Million ##Millimeal

Every time Jason Derulo gets another million followers on TikTok, he does something with food to commemorate the milestone. Now that he has 22 million people following him, he decided to try to eat 22 hamburgers in two hours. Can he do it?

Let’s just say what goes down, must come up. He might have some big muscles but they won’t help him with this challenge. How many did he eat before he admitted defeat? You just have to watch and follow him.

The faster we get him to 23 million, the quicker we can see him do something else with food. Although, I doubt he will try another competitive eating competition. Maybe he can try eating 23 dog biscuits. That is if Ice and Ghost are willing to share with their daddy.

Donny Osmond got into a car accident with a semi truck

Donny Osmond’s day started off with a bang, just not the type of bang he wanted. That is because the beloved singer got into an accident today in Utah.

Osmond wrote, “My #Tesla had a messy encounter with a semi truck today.😬 I’m grateful to report that no one was hurt.” So are we because he is a national treasure.

I wonder if his computer system saved him. If you have never been in a Tesla, the navigation screen shows how close automobiles are to you. This way you can see if someone is getting too close to your trunk, sides, or frunk. The frunks (front trunk) scare me because there is nothing inside to protect you if you get into a fender bender with the vehicle in front of you. Plus, that is where my friend makes me ride whenever he is my chauffeur.

Seriously, it is good to see that a Tesla can take a licking and not be totaled. 2020 would have been totaled if we lost the man we have Puppy Love for.

BTW That is the maddest I have ever seen him look. He is always smililng and happy, I never thought he could get upset. Then again, who isn’t pissed after a car crash?

What do you think of Doom Patrol’s newest member?
June 10th, 2020 under Brendan Fraser, DC Comics, HBO Max, Matt Bomer. [ Comments: none ]

We are just 15 days away from the season two premiere of Doom Patrol on HBO Max. Today, the streaming service released the first look at the DC Universe show that is unlike all of the other ones. It is nice to see that nothing has changed for bumbling superheroes. That is why we love them and the things they do.

What can we expect from the new season? Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) — are back again to save the world. That is, if they can find a way to grow up…both figuratively and literally. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.

If you have been on the fence on whether or not to subscribe to HBO Max, this show will make it easy for you to decide to do it. Doom Patrol is not my normal genre, but it is unlike all of the other ones. It is so ingenious and funny that you cannot help but root for them, even though they are massive screw ups. Not only that, but this is also a superhero show you cannot watch with the kids because there is sex and cursing. See we can have nice things.
