Before David Hasselhoff was saving lives on Baywatch, he needed someone to save his life in Starcrash. He looks the same now as he did when he was 26 in that 1979 movie.
Lucifer was too hot for broadcast television, so Netflix resurrected it. So far, we have seen him be very good at being very bad for the fourth season of the hot show. Today, we got to find out when we will see more of him (Is there much more left of him for us to see?) for its fifth season.
The season that was promoted as its last one will begin streaming on August 21st. A perfect day because it will be as hot on the outside as it will be inside our homes watching Tom Ellis.
Seriously, if you have never seen the show that is so devilishly good, what are you waiting for? When Lucifer was on Fox, it was one of few shows I had to watch live as it aired. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next.
When it comes to its sixth season, if Ellis won’t sign on for it, then give Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) her own spinoff. Her character as a bounty hunter really deserves one.
A few weeks ago, it was revealed that YouTube was not going to air the third season of Cobra Kai even though it was already shot. Then Sony announced that they were shopping the series around. Today, we found out that Netflix decided to save the amazing show.
Later on this year, Netflix will begin streaming the first two seasons, and then they will debut the third one sometime after that. I hope they don’t wait too long because fans like me are waiting to find out what happens next in Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny’s (Billy Zabka) saga that has lasted over 35 years, two movies and two streaming services. Very impressive!
Executive Producers Josh Heald, and Jon Hurwitz say that their new home allows them to “explore opportunities to further expand The Karate Kid universe.” I wonder if that means Martin Kove will get his own spinoff? Is it wrong that I would like to see his character exit the Cobra Kai series? It should be easy to do because they set that up in the season two finale. I won’t tell you how because I don’t want to spoil the show for you if you have not seen it yet.
If you have not seen it, then I highly suggest that you stream it as soon as it is on Netflix. It is one of the best shows on television these days. Don’t get me started on the fight scenes. That is normally not my thing, but man, they make this chick go gaga over them.
Awards season is going to look a lot different in 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Tonys and the Grammys do not have a set night yet, the Oscars moved from February 28th to April 25th, and now the Golden Globes has a new date. It is going to be on Oscars’ old night.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association confirmed that Tina Few and Amy Poehler are still hosting the big night. If they will be doing it in front of a live studio audience, that is still an unknown. But who cares TinAmy are back where they belong.
On June 27th, Garth Brooks is beaming one of his concerts to over 300 drive-in theaters all over the US.
While that is cool, wouldn’t it be even cooler if it was a live and in-person show? Well, that is what Live Nation is doing next month with nine shows between July 10th-12th. Brad Paisley will be playing all three cities, Nashville, Tennessee, Maryland Heights, Missouri, and Noblesville, Indiana. While the other nights in those cities will be shared by Nelly and El Monstero in St. Louis, Jon Pardi and Darius Rucker in Nashville, and Jon Pardi and Yacht Rock Revue in Indianopollis.
How are they going to do that during the coronavirus pandemic? Your seats are your car. For as low as $125 per automobile, you can bring three people with you to enjoy the show. Each vehicle is given three spaces that are 9′ wide. The first for the car, the second for tailgating, and a third to keep a distance from the next concert-goer. While you are not required to wear a mask when you are in your designated area, you will have to wear one when you go to the bathroom. Each restroom will have hand sanitizer, a sink, and someone cleaning areas that see high traffic.
You are able to bring your own food and alcohol. However, they will be selling hot food and non-alcoholic drinks just in case.
Paisley told the AP, “The idea that we’re outdoors is a great thing,” adding, “I just think it’s a fun way to watch a concert anyway. It’d be fun if there wasn’t a virus.”
Hopefully, it is success because I would totally go to a concert like this. Plus, it is cheaper than most shows. Would you go to a gig like this?
If you would, then you can get tickets this Friday on Live Nation.
