Elle Fanning heard that the billboard for her show The Great was on display near where she was, so she had to go see herself in person. Then when she did, she had to pose just like she did in the poster. Thankfully, it is LA, and there were not that many people around, because of, you know, the coronavirus. If there were, then they would want to know why she was giving them the finger.
Since she does not look the same way as she does in the one sheet. In the poster, she is dressed in a royal gown from the 18th century. In real like, she is wearing sunglasses, a mask, and a tank top. How would they know they are looking at the same woman, who is life-size right in front of them and several stories tall across the street? I wouldn’t have realized it was the same person. I would have thought it was an obnoxious tourist trying to recreate that poster because her character is flipping everyone off.
Back to Fanning, I always think it is so cute when celebrities get all excited when they see huge billboards of themselves. Especially for someone like Fanning, who has been doing this since she was a toddler.
When I was a kid, I used to look forward to going to Burger King so that I could get one of those paper crowns. It made me feel like a princess. Heck, I would wear one now if they gave it to me.
I am not the only one who feels that way. Taylor Kinney is driving on his motorcycle from Chicago to Pennsyltucky, and he stopped at the Home of the Whopper to get something to eat. On the way out, he proudly showed off his BK crown. The Chicago Fire star might be 38, but he is not too old to feel like a kid!
Personally, Burger King should make him their mascot! He is so hot, he could flame broil their hamburgers just by walking by them.
To some people the Super Bowl is the biggest sports game of the year, but not me. Every July Fourth, I look forward to watching the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island.
Because of Coronavirus, it is not yet known if the annual contest will go on. Then if it doesn’t take place at the original Nathan’s, will they do it online? It is all up the air, like the hot dog spit that comes out of their mouths during the chow down.
The uncertainty is not stopping Joey Chestnut, the man who one 12 out of the last 13 years, from preparing for the eating competition. He told News 12 “I hope I am there in Brooklyn, and I hope people can watch, but no matter what I will be eating hot dogs on the 4th and I hope everybody is, and even if there isn’t any kind of contest, I will be live-streaming eating at home.”
I hope Nathan’s finds a way to make it happen. I need to see them devour over 50 hot dogs in 12 minutes. Not because I want to see them do it. I am waiting for someone to eat too many frankfurters and buns, and throw them up live on the air. It happened once, and I have been waiting for a repeat ever since. It was really awesome!
Jerry Stiller passed away today at the age of 92 from natural causes according to Ben Stiller. His son wrote, “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”
Jerry Stiller is best known for the comedy act he had his wife Ann Meara, who passed away in 2015. The two of them were all over the television during the Golden Era of TV.
Then in the ’90s, his career saw a resurgence when he played Frank Constanza on Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner of The King of Queens. He also made appearances in son’s movies like both Zoolanders.
Remember him today as he lived his life, full of laughter.
We have all seen ultrasound photos of babies giving their parents the thumbs up from within the womb, and we thought it was so cute.
Do you know what is even cuter? Katy Perry’s daughter gave her mom half the peace sign (my favorite live from The Jeffersons) from within her growing belly. Can anyone blame her? She has seen what her mom has been wearing on American Idol. Well, no, she hasn’t, but we have, so this is our justice!
Seriously, if this ultrasound video is any hint for what Perry’s future is going to be like, it is going to be one full of a lot of laughter with her rambunctious baby!
