What does Americans need now? We need Christmas joy, so Hallmark Channel is giving it to us.
Since we have already binged everything we have wanted to watch on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and whatever else there is, Hallmark is giving us a weekend of Christmas movies. You know, since wlle will all probably be in our homes until then.
Starting tomorrow at noon, they will be airing 29 movies during the We Need a Little Christmas marathon.
I know I complain about Christmas coming earlier and earlier every year, but I am OK with it coming in March this one time. Merry Christmas!

The Good Doctor and New Amsterdam’s Daniel Dae Kim has Coronavirus |

Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim might be a co-creator of The Good Doctor and guest star on New Amsterdam, but that does not mean playing a doctor on television will make him immune from the Coronavirus.
He was working in Manhattan on the NBC medical drama when they told them they were shutting down production for the season. Therefore, he headed back to Hawaii to be with his family. On the plane ride back, he noticed he wasn’t feeling well. He called his doctor, and eventually got in to take the test. He says it is uncomfortable.
Anyway, he got the test results back, and it returned the positive. Maybe knowing what was wrong with him was enough to make him feel better, but it worked.
The actor says that he is willing to donate his blood to be tested to come up with a cure for this virus. Something I am sure he will find a way to be written into a future Good Doctor episode.
Kim also wanted to point out that we should not call this the Chinese Virus because it puts Asian-Americans’ lives at risk. He is Asian-American and he has it, but that is not where he got it from. If he did, then he would call it the New York Virus.
This is another example of why Donald Trump doesn’t understand how his words are dangerous. Several Asian-Americans have already been attacked physically and verbally because of that rhetoric. This is a time when we should be coming together as one, and not getting further apart. Coronavirus doesn’t care where you are from, what color your skin is, what Gd you believe in and who you love? It just cares that you are a warm body it can infect.
Get well soon, Kim! And can you offer to donate the medical props from the two medical dramas to a local hospital like The Resident?

The Resident donates their props to an Atlanta hospital |

The Resident has wrapped for the season, so they don’t need their props for several months. Therefore, they donated their masks, gowns and other medical equiptment to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where they film the medical series.
Dr. Karen L. Law saw the donated items, wrote how much the donation meant to her and the hospital.
“Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To the entire team @theresidentonfox, thank you for this incredibly generous donation of #PPE from your set, including gowns, masks, gloves, and all the things our healthcare workers need to provide safe care for our community during #COVID19.
Yesterday, I had a serious discussion with the residents about how, though supplies are low, a magical shipment of masks is unlikely to arrive. And yet, a magical shipment of masks DID arrive, in the form of this very generous gesture. This kind of community support means so much to our #frontlineproviders who are making many sacrifices to staff our hospitals and care for our community.
Thank you, @theresidentonfox and @foxtv for being helpers. We needed this kind of good news today.
This was a very generous thing that they did. It will be interesting to see if Grey’s Anatomy, Chicago Med, New Amsterdam, Carol’s Second Act and The Good Doctor will do it too. They should.

John Legend has crabs! |

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are stuck home with their two kids, Luna and Miles. Since their children are too young to be homeschooled, the family of four gets to have some fun.
What is more fun than swimming? Thus, the four of them put on their swimming suits and jumped on inro the pool. Before they got their bathing suits all wet, the model took a photo of her two boys modeling their swimming trunks with crabs on them.
You know that Teigen bought those just so she could say, “I have crabs.” That means she gave them to the People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Can someone tell me what manufacturer thought that was a good idea? Didn’t they realize all the jokes that person wearing them is going to have endure? They probably did!

Imagine what could get Sia to sing without a wig! |

We pretty have suspected that Gal Gadot is a Wonder Woman in front of the camera and behind it. Now, she did something that proves that she is more of one when the cameras are not rolling.
She was inspired by the trumpet player in Italy, who got his neighbor to play along with him on another balcony. Therefore, she called some of her friends like Will Ferrell, Lynda Carter, Kristen Wiig, Sia, and so many others, and asked them to sing John Lennon’s Imagine with her.
Since we are all practicing social distancing, she got them all to send her a video of them singing a line from the inspirational tune. Then she edited it all together to remind us all how we need to pay attention to Lennon’s words. They are just as relevant now as they were almost 50 years ago. We are one world and we all need to live as one.
