We are so used to Jason Alexander as George Costanza; we forget that he has also done musicals. He even once sang for McDonald’s supper back in the day!
The actor wanted to give us some joy, so he sat down on his piano bench and sang With You from Pippen as he tickled the ivories for us. What a gorgeous rendition of a beautiful song.
I hope it brightens your day as much as it did mine. Especially since today, Alexander and I both began living Safer At Home for the next month.
There is something about the real Jason Alexander that is just so endearing. This video is another reason why I adore him so much.
If you want more of Alexander’s singing, then you can watch two of his musicals on Tubi TV for free. There is Bye Bye Birdie and Lucky Stiff. The latter is really enjoyable and witty.
In LA, we are all stuck at home, but Conan O’Brien decided to go out. That turned out to be a bad idea for him.
He asked a man, who was across the street from him, if he wanted to do a selfie with late night longest host. The stranger said no. Why? Because he does not know who Conan is.
As if Conan’s wife does not have enough problems with her husband being home all the time, now she also has to deal with her delirious lover (another thing we need to feel sorry for her about) being sad that no one knows who he is. Well not everyone, I would recognize him anywhere. How many tall redheads with his hairstyle are there? None, for a good reason!
Thankfully, Conan will be back doing his TBS show on March 30th via iPhone. Sadly for his wife, he will be doing the show from his home. She just can’t get rid of him until April 19th, at least.
Before Jimmy Fallon was telling jokes on his Tonight Show, he was just one of the comedians telling jokes at the MDA Telethon. How hysterical was the 22-year-old back in 1997? I loved when she shook his tush!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgWEDVIFGN0 NATAS announced today that they are postponing the June Daytime Emmy Awards indefinitely.
The awards show has been struggling to find a home for the last few years. I wonder if they will go on after the pandemic is over, and last year’s show was not the last one. I hope it does go on. These are some of the hardest working people in the business and deserve to be recognized.
However, they did say, “Judging continues, and we look forward to announcing our incredibly talented nominees later this Spring. We are working on some interesting alternative ideas for how to best recognize the honorees later this year and will share more details in the weeks ahead.”
