July 10th, 2019 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Ron Jeremy. [ Comments: none ]

Most people use their feet to do the #BottleCapChallenge. Mariah Carey used her voice to get the cap off the bottle. Well, Ron Jeremy is not known for either. We all know what he is known for and that is his 10″ one-eyed monster that had a horror movie based on it. A really good one, you should totally check out.

Back to challenge, he took everything off and let his magic wand do its, well, magic. And it worked. Now we know something else it can get off besides women!

Shark Week is getting its own movie
July 10th, 2019 under DIscovery Networks/Discovery+, Shark Tank. [ Comments: none ]

Discovery released their schedule for Shark Week and they are doing something they have never done before. Throughout the years, they have done documentaries and talk show, and this year they are doing their first original movie called Capsized: Blood in the Water with Josh Duhamel and Tyler Blackburn on July 31st.

The telemovie is, “Based on the harrowing true story of an October 1982 shark encounter. After a yacht bound for Florida capsizes during an unexpected storm, its crew is left to drift for days in the chilling waters of the Atlantic where they become prey to a group of tiger sharks. With the hope of rescue dwindling, the crew must do everything in their power to survive as the sharks continue to hunt them.”

Not only that, but they are also doing a Baby Shark special. Just joking! Why aren’t they doing anything with Baby Shark, it seems like a no brainer. No?

To what they are doing this year, then click here!

Both John Davidson and Sting cancel concerts for medical reasons
July 10th, 2019 under Sick Bay, The Police. [ Comments: none ]

John Davidson and Sting are on the road this summer and both singers are forced to take a break from performing for their next few gigs per doctor’s orders.

The Hollywood Squares’ host, wrote today, “Some bad news: due to a gallbladder that’s gone rogue, I will be having emergency surgery to have it removed, and my next 3 gigs have to be canceled. I feel terrible about this, but I’m in the hospital until it’s out. I hope you’ll come out to another show after this month, and my sincere apologies to the venues and attendees of The Guthrie Center, The Farmstand and Surflight Theatre.”

While we know what is wrong with the 77-year-old, the Police singer has not revealed what is ailing him. All the 67-year-old’s people said is, “It is with great regret that Sting’s concerts previously scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at jazzopen in Stuttgart, Germany and Friday, July 12 at the Castle Garden in Slavkov u Brna, Czech Republic will be canceled. As reported earlier this week, Sting is under the weather and under doctor’s orders, and was forced to also cancel concerts in Ghent, Belgium (Monday, July 8) and Munich, Germany (Wednesday, July 10). Sting sincerely regrets disappointing or causing any inconvenience to the fans.”

Hopefully, both of them will be better very soon and back on tour soon delighting their fans. Although, personally I have never seen a good Sting concert and I have seen him 3 times, two-times solo and once with The Police. All three were huge disappointments to me.

Jessica Simpson is releasing a memoir!
July 10th, 2019 under Jessica Simpson. [ Comments: none ]

Today, we learned that not only can Jessica Simpson read, but she can also write. That is because the singer announced that she is releasing a memoir in February with Harper Collins. She says, “I have been working so hard on it – I have opened my heart up in a way I never have before and I can’t wait to share it with you 💚.”

What can we expect from her untitled book? The publisher describes it as, “From her popular television show Newlyweds, to a very public divorce, starring on the big screen and topping the Billboard charts, finding new love, raising a family, and running a successful business empire, her new book will be a candid, inspiring, and behind-the-scenes look at how she chose to learn from each difficult moment, evolve musically, become a more fearless businesswoman, and consistently shatter all expectations of who she was ‘supposed’ to be.”

We can say a lot of things about her, but she has always been real and honest with us. I expect her book to be the same. I think it will be the type of page-turner you cannot put down. Especially since it will be an easy read. Sorry, I had to go there. I will never forget Chicken of the Sea.

Is this what Ed Sheeran would like if he was not a singer?
July 10th, 2019 under Ed Sheeran. [ Comments: none ]

Ed Sheeran posted some photos of himself working in an office. It makes you wonder if that is how his life would have turned out had he not been given the gift of singing.

If that would have been the case, I hope no one ever takes his stapler. Doesn’t he look like a young Milton from Office Space?

I wonder what music video these images are from? I guess we will find out on Friday when his album, No. 6 Collaborations, comes out.
