Vince Neil announces that Mötley Crüe is recording four new songs!
September 13th, 2018 under Mötley Crüe. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2014, Mötley Crüe signed a document saying they would never ever tour again after their then-upcoming final tour. In fact, when the tour ended on December 31, 2015, they officially broke up. Or so we thought…

Today, lead singer Vince Neil tweeted, “Exciting news! I’ll be going back in recording studio in a few weeks with the boys to record 4 brand new Motley Crue tracks! Rock On!!” These songs will be their first ones since 2015’s All Bad Things.

I guess all good things are going on for Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars since they are back together again. Or they need the money. What? You thought about it too. Whatever the reason, Dr. Feelgood has a whole new meaning today because hearing they are releasing new songs is making me feel good. Where is my Tommy Lee drum solo for that bad joke?

What will be very interesting is if they decide to hit the road again. If they do, I wonder what will happen to that contract they signed four years ago?

Talking about time, if those four tracks turn into an album, then it will be their first one in 10 years.

How do feel about Crüe getting back together again?

UPDATE: Vince Neil explained how they are working on new tunes together. He wrote, “For those of you who don’t understand, yes ‘the boys’ means Motley and we signed a contract not to tour anymore. We never broke up or said we would never make music again. Hope this clears it up.”

Blake Lively says she is BFFs with her Sisterhood castmates
September 13th, 2018 under Blake Lively, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Ryan Seacrest. [ Comments: none ]

One of the reasons why so many people love The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is just how close the four actresses seem to be in front of the camera. Turns out, they are the same way behind the camera too.

Yesterday, when Blake Lively was on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the actress told them that she, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera are “still best friends.”

Does that mean they want to do the rumor third picture? She said that they want to do one for their audience that is no longer teens. Since they are all mothers now, I am sure they could incorporate that into the storyline.

Would you go see it if they made it?

This is not our Sabrina the Teenage Witch
September 13th, 2018 under Archie Comics, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Netflix released the first trailer for their version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and it is definitely not the one we grew up with. The light has been shut off and now we have a very dark show.

Will the adults stream Chilling Adventures of Sabrina starting on October 26th? I doubt it because they are ruining our childhood. But I do think the same teens who are watching CW’s Riverdale will watch this.

Call me strange, but I like the much happier characters from the Archie Comics. What is up with all this doom and gloom?

Aerosmith walks this way with classroom instruments
September 12th, 2018 under Aerosmith, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: 1 ]

One of my favorite segments on The Tonight Show is when Jimmy Fallon brings musicians on to perform one of their songs with classroom instruments. Tonight, the NBC host and The Roots were joined by Aerosmith and together they did Walk This Way. And now I cannot stop listening to it.

The only the negative is that I was hoping RUN-DMC was going to surprise us with a cameo. To me, this version sounded more like the ’86 duet as compared to ’77 original one. But then again, I heard the rap/rock version first. Which is weird because Steven Tyler and I are from the same hometown in The Bronx, but our borough is more known for being the birthplace of hip hop. Which is why he left for Boston.
