We have seen singing competitions where the judges did not know what the singer looked like until they turned their chairs around. There have been other ones with celebrity competitors. And now Fox is combining both of those elements for their show The Masked Singer that debuts in January. Take that American, what is it called again?
Anyways each week, several celebrities will skip hair and makeup and wear a costume from head to head, hiding their true identity host Nick Cannon, the audience and the judges. The judges, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, will have to try to guess who they are. Then at the end of the episode, one singer will go home and we will find out who that masked singer is.
Who are these masked singers? According to Fox, “Between all of the celebrity competitors on the show, they’ve amassed 65 Grammy nominations, 16 multi-Platinum albums, 16 Emmy nominations, nine Broadway shows, four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and four Super Bowl titles.”
Not bad. Too bad we have to wait 5 months to see it. Can’t they switch it up for another show because I want to watch it now!
Let’s be honest, a lot of men like watching two women go at it. Well for Rob McElhenney, he might be able to get to see his wife, Kaitlin Olson, do just that. Well in Fox safe for broadcast TV sort of way. That is because he is a producing a pilot starring Leah Remini and his wife will be her wife.
If the pilot gets picked up, it is slated to air sometime next year. But with a story being about a conservative woman, who lives in the house with her new wife and 2 boys while her husband stays in her garage, how can they not pick it up?
I am sure McElhenney is writing a lot of kissing scenes as we speak! Can anyone blame him?
Kassie Bevier met Nick Lewan in a class at Grand Valley State University and realized they are both are identical twins. On their first date out, they told the Today show today that brought their twins along. While Zack had a thing for Krissie, she did not have a thing for him. Eventually, she gave up running away from him and ran towards him. Now four years later they are both getting married this weekend a day apart.
Even though Kassie and Nick met each other first, they are getting married on Saturday. While their twins are getting married the day beforehand according to The Jackson Citizen Patriot. That is one of the very few things that they will have on their own. Both couples got engaged together at the Henry Ford Museum as their parents looked on. Then after they say I do, they will be living together in the same 2-bedroom apartment as three out of the four of them finish their advanced schooling. Good thing they are all twins because not many newlyweds would want to live with another newlywed couple.
The one question, I have not seen anyone ask them. Is did any of the twins pretended to be the other one a date? They went on a lot of double dates together, so it seems like it would be easy,
Let’s hope their married life is easy and not full of double trouble. BTW does this mean they will have quadruplets since twins skip a generation? While that might not happen, they might all become parents on the same day. Picture that headline, Identical twins who married identical twins have a baby on the same day.

You cannot play the part of a woman with a shaved head and not have one. Therefore, as Violet loses her security blanket, so did Sanaa Lathan. In the first trailer for the Netflix drama that begins to stream on September 21st, you get to see her do just that. You watch as she becomes a modern-day Samson. Unlike the biblical strongman, she gains strength without her mane. We are going to see her character grow with each inch of her hair that grows back.
We know that animals like to dance to music, but did you know they can play the instruments that make that music? The Pet Collective did, so they made a video of several different animals jamming.
There are drumming dogs, thrashing piglets, tickling the ivories birds, and cats! The only thing missing from this purrfect band is Animal from The Muppets. Other than that they are totally arfmazing and oinkstanding!
