Watch Pigeon Thicke dance to Blurred Lines
January 20th, 2019 under Alan and Robin Thicke, Animals. [ Comments: none ]

Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring might have named their son Robin, but maybe they should have gone with pigeon instead. That is because a pigeon was grooving to Blurred Lines in NYC. In fact, the bird even moved liked the singer does in the video. Which makes you wonder of Thicke moves more like a robin or a pigeon? I am thinking the latter.

When is someone going to give the two street performers a contract because I would pay to see them live?

That video might have been on Very Interesting, but I find very amusing and very enjoyable!

The Masked Singer is one of the weirdest competition shows ever!
January 2nd, 2019 under Alan and Robin Thicke, Fox, Ken Jeong, Nick Cannon, Nicole Scherzinger. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p, The Masked Singer will grace the airwaves on Fox. It is the strangest singing competition you have ever seen. Yet it is actually really enjoyable.

It is not full of people vying for a record contract. It is not celebrities singing as other singers. It is not celebrities trying to pretend they can sing when they can’t. It is twelve celebrities in full-body costumes and we have to guess who they are. They are Grammy winners, Emmy winners and pro-athletes. That is all we know about them.

Each week they will compete and we get a new clue to who they are under all of that fabric that covers their bodies from head to toe. They will perform, in groups of 2, a song in front of a live audience and panelists, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, and host Nick Cannon. After they are done, the panelists will ask them some questions to see if maybe they can guess what is their identity.

After each group of 2 performs, the audience and the panelists decide who they want to keep around. At the end of the night, the bottom person of each group will face another vote and the lowest scoring person goes home. This will keep on going until there is one.

Fox is so secretive about who is on the show, that they even blurred and bleeped out the losing contestants face and name on the two screener episodes they sent out. Thus, I don’t even know who they are. I think the person eliminated next week might be Tracy Morgan, but who knows, it can be anyone.

Although, wait until you hear the A-list celebrities they think are under the suits. They actually believe that Barack Obama might be one of the singers. Seriously, that is what he is going to do with his spare time? I think I am more on point when I tell you I think that La Toya Jackson is one of the competitors. That makes more sense, right?

Like I said, this is a show unlike any other. It so out there, that is truly enjoyable. It is like what did I smoke and can I have more of it. Who doesn’t need more of that these days?

Gerard Butler, Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus lose their homes in the fire
November 12th, 2018 under Alan and Robin Thicke, Gerard Butler, Miley Cyrus. [ Comments: none ]

There are massive fires going on California now and one is effecting the homes of celebrities. Many of them have been evacuated, but some lost their houses.

Gerard Butler returned to him home, only to find out it was no longer there. He posted the above photo and wrote, “Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment. If you can, support these brave men and women at SupportLAFD.org.”

Robin Thicke, his pregnant girlfriend April Love Geary and their daughter Mia fled their home, only to learn it was gone.

Miley Cyrus wrote on Twitter, “Completely devestated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department! If you are interested in getting involved see next tweet…. Donate $ , Time , Supplies I love you more than ever , Miley”
Neil Young wrote about climate change and added, “California is a paradise for us all. A gift. We are sad to not be able to defend it against Mother Nature’s wrath. We
love California We are not ill-prepared. We are up against something bigger than we have ever seen. It’s too big for some to see at all Firefighters have never seen anything like this in their lives. I have heard that said countless 30 times in the past two days, and I have lost my home before to a California fire, now another.”

Finally, Camille Grammer watched her house burn down on live television.

Even though they lost so much, they still want to help others who are in the situation as them.

My heart goes out to all of them and to the all those trying to stop these fires. I pray today is the day they get the upper hand.

Spend all of Thanksgiving with Growing Pains on Antenna TV!
November 1st, 2018 under Alan and Robin Thicke, Antenna TV. [ Comments: none ]

This Thanksgiving, Antenna TV is going to air every single episode of Growing Pains from 8p on November 21st until 8p on November 25th. That means you get to see all 166 episodes in order for free.

You can watch Kirk Cameron, Tracey Gold and Jeremy Miller grow up in front of our eyes and Leonardo DiCaprio become a heartthrob. Plus, you have an excuse to ditch your family. You can tell them you do not want to miss the Matthew Perry episode. That one still makes me cry.

Don’t get Antenna TV, then if you live in the Bay Area, SoCal or Phoenix, then you can download the Local BTV app and record the 4-day marathon so you don’t miss a single episode. I just found about it yesterday and I am hooked to free channels app. Now if only they can add LAFF, I would be in hog heaven.

BTWF: Robin Thicke on Growing Pains
October 29th, 2018 under Alan and Robin Thicke, Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Robin Thicke was a chart topping rock star, he was singing on his dad’s show Growing Pains. How cute was the 12-year-old in that 1989 episode?
