BTWF: Joel McHale in Diagnosis Murder
August 22nd, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, Dick Van Dyke, Joel McHale. [ Comments: none ]

Before Joel McHale was investigating murders in The Happytime Murders, he was the one who was murdered on Diagnosis Murder. He looks younger now than he did when he was 30 in that 2002 episode.

It is not Olivia Newton John’s ‘sad last days’
August 22nd, 2018 under Olivia Newton-John. [ Comments: 1 ]

Olivia Newton-John cancelled her upcoming book tour dates. Radar reported it is because her cancer has returned with a vengeance. Then they added, these are her “sad last days” because it has spread into her bones.

In May 2017, she revealed she was diagnosed with cancer again. She had previously beat breast cancer in 1992.

Well, I was a little suspicious of the story because she looked healthy when she attended Grease’s 40th-anniversary last week. Turns out I was right. Her publicist Michael Caprio released the below statement to clear things up.

Olivia Newton-John’s two upcoming speaking appearances in Australia were canceled due to scheduling conflicts with her upcoming promotional tour for her new book, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and the ONJ Cancer Wellness & Research Centre’s Wellness Walk & Research Run – not illness as falsely reported.

She’s looking forward to walking with everyone at the Wellness Walk on September 16th in Melbourne and, is excited that this year the walk is going global and people can support it by becoming virtual walkers from wherever they are in the world.

Glad these are not her sad last days.

Deadpool takes on Honest Trailer by doing an honest trailer on them
August 22nd, 2018 under Ryan Reynolds. [ Comments: none ]

Back when Deadpool came out on home video, he teamed up with Honest Trailers to do one on the movie. Now that the sequel is out on digital, it is time for Screen Junkies to do one on that movie.

Instead of doing what they did the last time, this time Deadpool turns the tables on them. As in, he did an honest trailer all about them. Which I am sure several movie producers, directors, writers and actors wish they could have done.

Even if they were given the chance, none of them are as good as Deadpool.

The best part about this Honest Trailer is that they were able to leave Ryan Reynolds out of it!

The Big Bang Theory’s 12th season will be its last
August 22nd, 2018 under Chuck Lorre, Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik. [ Comments: none ]

After season ten, CBS picked up The Big Theory for two more seasons. Now that they are into that second season, people have been wondering will its 12th season be its last one.

Today, we got the answer and this will be their final season. WBTV and Chuck Lorre set this statement to The Hollywood Reporter, “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”

It is interesting that they are ending the sitcom because it was the #1 scripted show last season. You would think everyone at the network and the studio will do everything it can to keep it going as long as they can.

Having said that as someone who has watched every episode, I am OK with ending. It has had run its course and I hope it goes out like it came in. By making us laugh.

How do you feel about The Big Bang Theory ending its hugely successful run?

UPDATE: Kaley Cuoco had this to say about the show ending, “This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets. No matter when it was going to end , my heart would have always been broken in two. Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet. To the fans, our crew, families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are goin out with a bang 💫”

An ’80s teen girl’s wet dream!
August 22nd, 2018 under Billy Idol, Wet dream. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s, girls were saying Oh L’amour to Erasure and wanted to have a White Wedding with Billy Idol, but never the two should meet. Yesterday, when the duo was playing Wiltern in Los Angeles, the rocker was dancing with himself to their tunes.

Then when the show was over they posed for this photo. All I could think of is how cool would it be if Erasure worked their magic with one of his tunes like they did with Abba and he tried to do one of theirs. Heck, I would totally love to see them to a duet to Yahoo. But only because it is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Not only that, I would love to see them tour together. How awesome would that double bill be? I would go see it, but then again out of all of the concerts I have seen, Erasure has remained my favorite and I have never seen Billy Idol.
