Everyone has been talking about Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but there was even a more shocking incident that happened across the street.
The other day Jimmy Kimmel was walking on Hollywood Blvd and he saw a woman taking a photo by his star. He offered to take a photo with the star, and she was like no. She did not realize she was talking to him. The ABC late night host tried to do everything in his power to convince her and still nothing. Of course, at the moment no one else recognized him.
As she held her daughter as close to her body as she could, he could still not get her to accept the fact that she was talking to the man whose star she was taking a photo of. I guess ABC should put his photo on the front of his studio instead of just Jimmy Kimmel Live. This way people will recognize him if he is outside of it. Like they do with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Stephen Colbert and Jay Leno. David Letterman blends in because of the beard.
Ever since Taxi, Tony Danza has pretty much been playing the good guy. Not on The Good Cop. It looks like he is going to be a former bad cop, whose son (Josh Groban) is the complete opposite. Grobs, who is naturally goofy, it is going to be uptight on the cop show. Strangely, it works really well for him. At least in the trailer for the Netflix show that begins streaming on September 21st. Mark your calendars, or they will arrest you.

It is no secret that Rebecca Romijn and her husband Jerry O’Connell really love animals, so it makes sense that Hallmark Channel made her their Spokesperson of Adoption Ever After.
She and the network have joined together to get the word out about adopting pets from shelters. So many animals need a home, and you do not have to pay hundreds of dollars by buying one from a pet store. You can go to your local shelter and bring home your furbaby. One by one, you will be helping to cut down on the numbers of pet homelessness.
Romijn will join Happy the Dog and Happy the Cat, as they will promote the program with off-air elements, grassroots efforts, social media outreach and strategic corporate partnerships.
My sweet and lovable cat, who is the best thing that ever happened to me, was rescued from the LA Shelter the day before she was going to be put down. Therefore, I know how important it is to adopt don’t shop. Thus, I love that Hallmark Channel is doing this and that they made Romijn their Ambassador. I cannot think of a better person.
Think I am excited about all of this, not as excited as the actress. She wrote, “So thrilled about this I could cry. Thank you @hallmarkchannel.” If she does cry, good thing she has a lot of dogs and cats to lick off her tears. Another reason to bring one home today.
Before Carrie Fisher died, she finished filming for Star Wars: The Last Jedi aka Episode XIII, but they were nowhere close to even thinking about filming the last movie in the franchise. Which made us wonder would she would or would she not be in the final film.
Today, we got the answer. Star Wars revealed that Princess Leia Organa will be in the film and it will not be a CGI version of her as there was one in Rogue One. Instead, they will be using previously unreleased footage of her that was shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Good thing they brought back J.J. Abrams to direct because he also directed A Force Awakens and knows how to make it work. In fact, he said, “Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character. With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honor Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”
This is doing her legacy proud. She is not the only original (from the first 3 films) in the movie, so are Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams. Not only that, John Williams will once again score the music for the feature.
Even though I have not seen a Star Wars movie since Episode I, I am actually looking forward to seeing this one next September.
