Yesterday, it was revealed that Abby Lee Miller went under emergency surgery for an infection affecting her spine. Turns out it was not an infection, but it is most likely Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. According to Eonline, they are waiting for the final results of the test before they confirm the diagnosis.
Lymphoma Action describes it is a rare, fast-growing cancer of the lymph nodes that is often fatal if not diagnosed early. If it diagnosed early, then she will go under intensive chemo-immunotherapy, which is chemotherapy with antibody therapy. The site says she will most likely start treatment immediately and stay in the hospital throughout all of it. Her prognosis is good if she responds to therapy.
Dr. Hooman Melamed also told the E! that she may require an additional surgery on her back.
She has a rough couple of months ahead of her, so here is to hoping those months go as smoothly as possible.
I wonder what happens to remaining part of her sentence. Will they just let her go with time served or will she have to go back to the halfway house when she is done with all of the therapy for the cancer and to rebuild her muscles?
Talk about having a really sh!tty year. She started it out in prison and then it will continue with months in the hospital and therapy. She was a little over a month from getting her life back and now it is going to take longer until she can teach dance again.

Before Beverley Mitchell starred in 7th Heaven, she was in 7th heaven when Oscar Meyer came out with bun length hot dogs. How darling is the 4-year-old in that 1985 commercial?

Tonight at 9p on USA Network, it has been the moment we have been waiting for since the first episode of Suits. Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) becomes the bad boy that he has been suppressing his whole life. The episode starts off with Sheila’s (Rachael Harris) fiance’ confronting him and Louis does everything in his power not tell him that he has been having an affair with the woman he is about to marry. When he gets back to his office Katrina (Amanda Schull) tells him she has a plan to get back at him. A lawsuit that will bring his rival down to size. Will he get his revenge on the man that is about the marry the woman he loves?
While he is dealing with that, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) has her own problems. The man who owns the building they rent their offices wants to kick them out. She does not want to tell Harvey (Gabriel Macht) because he is still getting over their kiss, so she asks Rachel (Meghan Markle) to help her save their firm’s offices. Will they be able to do it?
If that is not enough the judge, who saved Mike’s (Patrick J Adams) butt, asks him to save her butt. He feels he has no choice, even though the stakes are high if he does it. He gets Harvey to help him out and the case is much harder than either one expected.
All of this leads into next week’s 2-hour season finale where we say goodbye to the future Mrs. Prince Harry and her TV husband. At least we are assuming Rachel and Mike are getting married.
Then at 10p but over on ABC, Michael J Fox joins Designated Survivor for the rest of the season. When President Kirkman’s (Kiefer Sutherland) psychiatrist’s tapes of POTUS’s sessions are accidentally released to the public, the cabinet holds a meeting to impeach him. They feel that he is not mentally fit to stay in office because he is dealing with PTSD from being the designated survivor and suddenly losing his wife in a car crash. They feel they have the case for the 25th amendment, so they hired the best lawyer (Fox) to plead it. While Fox is defending them, Kirkman is defending himself to the American people. Will the people vote to keep him in office or will the cabinet get their way?
All I can say is when is life going to imitate art already?
A few weeks ago, CBS announced that Jerry O’Connell is going to play Sheldon’s older brother Georgie on the season finale of The Big Bang Theory, and it is going to be an epic episode filled with many guest stars for Sheldon and Amy’s wedding.
If there is anyone that Sheldon does not want at his wedding, then it is going to be his arch-nemesis Wil Wheaton. Since the groom does not want him there, you know that he is going to be there to witness the nuptials.
You know what that means for us? We get to see Gordie and Vern together again! They are just as close now as they were when that movie came out in 1986 as you can see in this photo that EP Bill Prady posted. Maybe we can get a sequel since life imitated art in a way?
Now the big question, is will TBBT find a way to reference Stand By Me on the episode that airs on May 10th? We will find out then! Hopefully, it will be Mark Hamill who makes the reference like maybe with a pie eating contest?
CBS announced today that they picked up 7 dramas, 2 reality shows and 2 news programs for next season.
Bull, NCIS: New Orleans, Survivor, The Amazing Race, MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0, Blue Bloods, 48 Hours, 60 Minutes, NCIS: LA and Madam Secretary will join NCIS, SEAL Team, SWAT, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Mom and Murphy Brown on CBS’s 2018-2019 fall schedule.
That is a lot of shows, so what is missing? Kevin Can Wait, Man with a Plan, Superior Donuts, Living Biblically, Scorpion, Criminal Minds, Life in Pieces and Instinct.
Of those, I think Scorpion and Criminal Minds are gone along with at least one hour of sitcoms. Which sitcoms won’t be back, I am not sure. The only one I am watching of the ones not picked up is Superior Donuts, so I hope it is back.
I also think that if Code Black and Elementary do well enough in the summer ratings, they will be back next summer.
