Remember all the controversy over a hidden penis in The Little Mermaid poster? Well looks like that artist got another job, but this time on Netflix’s Maya the Bee. A mom noticed something strange on the screen when she was watching Episode 35 of the cartoon with her kids. That strange thing was a drawing of a penis. Outraged by what she saw, she took to social media to complain, and according to Variety the streaming service pulled the episode. So no more dicks for you and me.
When it comes to the drawing, I never know how people see those things on their own. I have a dirty mind and even I cannot find those hidden royal jewels or should I say gems until someone points it out. Can you?
The Foo Fighters helped James Corden get to his job at The Late Late Show yesterday, by doing Carpool Karaoke with him. They sang a bunch of their songs and the CBS host was totally rocking out with the guys. That was when Dave Grohl asked his driver if he bangs the drums. He said no, but he had a feeling he could. To see if he really could, they drove to Guitar Center and Taylor Hawkins, Grohl and Corden decided to beat it and the James realized playing the drums is not as easy as it looks.
What is easier for Corden is playing the guitar and they decided to put on a impromptu gig for the patrons. What was their song of choice? Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up! Which was a perfect way to cap off their day together!
Seriously, am I the only one who wants to be friends with Foo Fighters because they just seem like the coolest dudes!
We are still a few weeks away from Cheryl Burke’s debut on Dance Moms, but she is already talking about the Lifetime show to Us Weekly.
She told the mag that the week before Abby Lee Miller quit the show, she had met with the producers. Then her manager heard that dance teacher was gone, so he offered up his client as a replacement.
What was her take when she joined the show? She described it as, “It was tough, there were a lot of tears, anger and insecurity. It was shocking to me. I couldn’t believe these beautiful girls that have zero confidence. That’s not the way to live life.” Then she explained why she thinks they are like that, “They said they’d been traumatized by Abby and her teaching methods. That’s a shame because with teenagers it’s so important to mentor them.” And she says she mentors the young dancers without raising her voice at them. She might not be a screamer like Miller, but she is not easy on them.

Back in 1991, Right Said Fred climbed the charts with their huge I’m Too Sexy and now 26 years later that melody is back on the charts. Taylor Swift sampled their chorus in her new tune Look What You Made Me Do and everyone is rediscovering the ’90s hit. Even Right Said Fred themselves, who spent the weekend recording a mashup of both songs. I hope they release it because both tunes, which are great on their own, sounds even better together. Just like peanut butter and jelly, fine on their own but even more delicious combined.
Remember when season 1 of The Good Place ended and Elanor (Kristen Bell) revealed to her friends that they were in the bad place and not the good one; and your mouth hit the floor. Turns out we were not alone, so was the rest of the cast that is named Ted Danson or Bell. The show’s creator Michael Schur, kept that shocking ending from everyone, but his leads, as long as he could. Then when it was time for them to know, he recorded Jameela Jamil (Tahini), D’Arcy Carden (Janet), Manny Jacinto (Jason), William Jackson Harper’s (Chidi) reaction to the season 1 cliffhanger. Then he gave that video to Bell and she recently shared it with Entertainment Weekly to promotes yesterday’s season premiere.
What was in this unearthed video? The four of them reacting like all those vids on YouTube when an adult child tells their parents that they are not only pregnant, but they are pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. In others words, they reacted with even more shock and awed than we did. Proving they are just as invested in The Good Place as we are.
