Simon Cowell has already made it clear that he has no interest in the American Idol reboot on ABC, but what about Paula Abdul? She told The Insider, “I just think, the judging thing, I feel I’ve hung up my judging skills.”
But how does she feel when it comes to the show returning after only a year off. She said, “My feeling is, is it really too soon to have an outlet and an amazing platform for young hopefuls to become superstars? I don’t think so. I think there is never enough.” I think you can have too many, which is why so many of the talent shows have been cancelled over the last few years.
You have to admit it is pretty interesting that the biggest names from American Idol 1.0 want nothing to do with the ABC show. In fact, not only have 2 of the 3 original judges said no, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson have committed to doing The Voice over AI 2.0. That sings volumes, don’t you think?
Ed Sheeran was James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke buddy yesterday and he revealed a secret talent that he can do with his mouth. That talent is putting 47 Maltesers in his mouth at one time. When The Late Late Show host asked him to prove it, the singer was able to actually hold 55 of them at once. That is a lot of Malt Balls!
While that talent won’t get him laid, his music will. He told Corden, “I was quite an unfortunate looking kid and I feel like Gd looked down on me and thought you need help getting laid mate.” I know I would sleep with him just because of his songs and his voice. It makes him oh so sexy!
What makes him sound him even sexier, is a story he told about Justin Bieber. They went to a dive bar and wound up a at a golf course. The Beebs got on the ground, put golf ball in his mouth and told the Shape of You singer to hit it. Sheeran did not want to do it, but eventually he took the driver and swung. He was hoping not hit Bieber’s face but he did. Did Justin care? Nope! Which proves they are two young blokes having more fun than we are!
Actually this ride proved that Sheeran is even more fun that we thought. Don’t you just want to be friends with him. Heck, I want to be his driver, give him his guitar and let him serenade me as I take him around town. I will also make sure to stock it up with plenty of Maltesers.
Jennifer Finnigan and Jonathan Silverman have some big news to share on their 10th wedding anniversary, they are going are pregnant with their first child after being together for 13 years. Which is also how many years separates them in age.
The cute couple told People, “We are beyond excited to start this new chapter of our lives. We can’t wait to be parents!” And we cannot wait to see how awwwwdorable they are as parents.
They happily married lovers were introduced to each other in 2004 by Matthew Perry and tied the knot 3 years later.
This isn’t the only production they have in the works, they also have 2 movies coming out, Andover and An American Dog Story.

Ever since Tom Cruise announced that he was doing Top Gun 2 aka Top Gun: Maverick, Val Kilmer has expressed interest in reprising his role as the Iceman. So much so, he shared this photo wearing a shirt with his character’s face and said, “Still got it… just sayin…” That he does, and I hope they bring him back. It would not be Top Gun without him.
Last week, during opening night of Stacy Keach’s one man show of Pamplona at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, things didn’t seem right with the actor. Midway through the performance, they cancelled the show and rushed him to the hospital. It was there that they discovered that he suffered a heart attack.
The theater’s artistic director Robert Falls told the Chicago Tribune that when he went to visit the actor the next day, he had the script in his hand and wanted to know when they were going to reschedule. The AD told him to get some rest and they will figure that out. At this point, it will most likely not be until next year.
Keach is expected to make a full recovery and will remain in Chicago to recover.
