Back in 1986, Andrew McCarthy and Molly Ringwald starred in Pretty in Pink together. Now, over 30 years later, Blane’s real life son is playing Andie’s son in the Netflix movie The Kissing Booth.
McCarthy told Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly that Sam is making his feature debut in this flick with his former big screen fling. Yesterday, the proud pop got an email from his fictional prom date that reads, “Your son just walked away in a scene and it was just like you. My mind is freaking out.”
Our minds are like totally freaking out too. How freaky deaky is it that he is old enough to have a son how is old enough to act and that son is playing his onscreen girlfriend’s child. The Brat Pack are not supposed to be that old to have kids old enough to act, but they are. Which means I am old and now i am really feeling it.
Can’t we just go back to the days when the only thing we thought about when it came to gossip behind the scenes of Pretty in Pink is if it is true that Ringwald chose not kiss Duckie (Jon Cryer) and that is why we got the ending we got. Maksim Chmerkovskiy is paired with Heather Morris on Dancing with Stars this season, and something happened on Friday that did not cause them glee. While rehearsing for tonight’s show on ABC, the new dad felt a pain in his calf and now doctors are advising him not to dance for the foreseeable future.
According to Good Morning America, troupe dancer Alan Bersten is filling in for him tonight, but it unclear for how long.

That is the always the DWTS way, can’t confirm anything until the show airs. Which surprises me that they even let it get out there that he will not be dancing on the show tonight.
The switch of partners should not effect Morris’ chances since after all this is not her first time dancing. She did as a background dancer on Beyonce’s tour and on also when she was starring on Glee. Can you tell I am Team Charo and Team Mr T? Hopefully, the latter 2 will be around for a long time on the show because they are the only reason to watch.
Can you imagine anyone but Matt LeBlanc playing Joey on Friends? I can’t, but Esquire UK says there was another actor who was up for the role. That actor is Vince Vaughn, but casting director Ellie Janner didn’t think he was as right for the part as LeBlanc.
I think we can all agree she has a good knack for talent. Had she gone with Vaughn, I don’t think we would have ever gotten the Joey spinoff. Oh wait, that would’ve been a good thing.
Back when Vicki Lawrence was in high school, she sent Carol Burnett a letter saying that the two of them looked alike. Burnett needed someone to play her sister on her upcoming Variety show and she hired her pen pal. Thus, changing Larwence’s life forever.
Now, almost 50 years later, the two funny red heads are still celebrating their birthdays together. Here’s to them enjoying at least 50 more together because they still look great!
You know if CBS was smart, they would do a reunion show with Carol, Vicki, Tim Conway and Lyle Waggoner. I bet you the four of them could still be as hilarious as they were back when they did The Carol Burnett Show all those years ago. And TV needs that and them.
Sterling K Brown is starring in The Predator, and he is making me feel like one looking at him in this shirtless Selfie. Seriously, who knew the 40-year old, yes 4-0, had all that under clothes? Hopefully, they will show more of it when This Is Us returns in the Fall. Not that they need the ratings boost, but it wouldn’t hurt!
BTW seeing him like this makes me wonder why none of the Army Wives ever went after him, I would’ve. And we know that Marcia Clark did too! At least she did in his Emmy winning role.
