You knew it was going to happen, but we didn’t know it was going to happen this quickly. Legendary Entertainment is fast tracking a live-action Pokémon movie centered around Detective Pikachu. According to Variety, they are looking to begin production in 2017 and that is all the information we know as of now.
Hopefully by then we will have forgotten about Pokémon GO, kind of like how we forgot about Angry Birds by the time that film came out.
Rami Malek was on Late Night yesterday and he told Seth Meyers a story about the first time that he saw a billboard with his face on it in Los Angeles. Mr Robot got so excited that he crashed his car into another one. Then he explained what happened next, “I got out of the car and I couldn’t stop staring at it (the billboard). And then the driver looked as well, put two and two together and then the back pain really set in.” So much so that she took his “first couple of paychecks.”
So to all the actors, who are going to see their faces on huge billboards for the first time, take this as lesson to pull over as soon as you see it. Unless you want to give your first few paychecks to you manager, agent, publicist and the person you accidentally hit who now suddenly knows who you are.
William Shatner was seen sitting in a cardboard box on the street, so you have to wonder if the actor has hit hard times? Nope, he was making a statement on Twitter, I just can’t figure out what the trope is all about.
What I can tell you is that I am anxiously awaiting to see his new NBC show Better Late Than Never starting on August 23rd. The Shat along with Henry Winkler, Jeff Dye, George Foreman and Terry Bradshaw travel all over Asia to learn all about The Orient through their foods, historical sites, people and whatever else the continent throws at them.
On a different note, I have had Living in a Box’s Living in a Box stuck in my head since I saw this photo. Suffer along with me.
I don’t know about you. but it feels like it has been forever since Toddlers & Tiara has been on TLC. So long, I think the former contestants are old enough to compete in Miss Senior Citizen.
Well the wait is almost over because the show about toddlers competing in pageants will be back on August 24th.
Since we got to know Honey Boo Boo, the pageant world is a lot harder and the stakes are greater. The little girls still have to get their spray tans, hair extensions and waxed, but that is only a fraction of what they have to do. Now their talent has to be competitive as people 6 times their age, get collagen sprays and facial classes. And these girls aren’t even old enough to sit in a car without a booster seat.
To make matters worse, their moms are living vicariously through them and they won’t accept anything less than first place. The competition is fierce, but the mothers are fiercer and because of that it is going to be another great season of 13 episodes filled tears and glitter!
Shannen Doherty announced 11 months ago that she has breast cancer, and now she shared six emotional photos of herself shaving her head as she continues to battle the horrible disease. She did not explain why she did it, but sadly you can assume that she is going through chemotherapy.
Hopefully, this treatment will get rid of the cancer and she will find herself free of it in no time at all.
When it comes to her shaved head, they say bald is beautiful and on her that is certainly true.
