https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFm3W_Gzfy8 Rob Lowe Tweeted the sad news that his show The Grinder will not be back for a second season on Fox. He said, “#TheGrinder was not renewed by @FOXTV It was unapologetically original, smart, funny and had a murder’s row of talent. #GrinderRests.” But he followed it up with a great Tweet, “And there is still Grindr. So there’s that. #NotAllBadNews.”
It is that type of humor that will make me miss this show even more. It had a slow start, but it picked up and by the end of the season it was brilliant.
The only reason why I can assume people didn’t watch it is because it was on the wrong network. It would’ve done better on FX or USA. Maybe someone else will pick it. Especially if it gets and Emmy nom or two.
UPDATE: Fox also cancelled Grandfathered. I am not surprised because the show never found its identity. I wanted to like it, but I just never did. I will miss having John Stamos on TV every week, but this was just not the best project for Josh Peck and him.
Oh and the animated Bordertown and Cooper Barrett Guide to Surviving Life were cancelled, but don’t worry no one else heard of them either.
Somewhere Stana Katic is doing a happy dance! Just weeks after she was fired from Castle, ABC cancelled the show!
My theory is ABC was paying attention to the online chatter about people despising the idea of the show going on without Beckett, and realized it wasn’t worth bringing it back. That and the pitch for next season must’ve been awful. I mean they just renewed the contracts of Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever in the last few days, so they were seriously thinking of bringing it back. But at the last minute they said no to renewing one of their highest rated scripted shows. Something had to happen to make them change their minds so suddenly.
So I guess you can say the show is called Castle, but it can’t just go on with just Fillion. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Am I sad to see this show go? Not at all. The last few seasons have been horrible with this one being the worst by far. Thus, I am happy to say goodbye to this procedural this Monday night.
Team Stana!
UPDATE: ABC also cancelled the very disappointing The Muppets. Synergy couldn’t save the comedy and I am happy it didn’t. It was just The Muppets without any heart. Without that they were destroying everything they were built on. So good riddance. That and how dare they break up Kermit and Miss Piggy.
UPDATE 2: TV Line is reporting that Castle filed an alternate ending in case it got cancelled.
UPDATE 3: The fat lady sang because Galavant was cancelled. I loved that show. Even though I knew it was going to get cancelled, it still breaks my heart it won’t be back.
UPDATE: ABC picked up Dr Ken for a second season. This show didn’t have the best pilot, but every episode since then has been really funny. They learned how to write for the full cast and they all deliver brilliantly.

CBS picked up Life in Pieces yesterday (for some stupid reason because it’s heinous), and today they cancelled CSI: Cyber and Supergirl. But before you get too upset, Supergirl is flying over to The CW for its second season.
The expensive show is going to have its budget cut. According to Deadline, they will be move production from LA to Vancouver. I am sure this is only one of the many budget cutting changes ahead for the show. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some casting changes to help lower the budget.
I don’t know where The CW is going to put it because they picked up all of their shows except for Containment, which they just cancelled. On that note, today they also picked up three pilots to series Riverdale, Frequency and No Tomorrow. For a network that only has 10 hours of programming, I don’t know how they are going to fit in 15 hours of scripted television. That should be fun a job for the bosses to figure out.
UPDATE: NBC picked up Chicago Justice, while ABC cancelled Nashville and Agent Carter. The news wasn’t all bad at ABC, they picked up The Real O’Neals, The Catch and American Crime.
Last year, Oliver Hudson had two acting jobs, one on Nashville and the other on Scream Queens. Now he is on a break and needs something to do. He asked Harmless Harvest to send him some Coconut Water and they did. Thus, he is on kick and he wants to see what else he can get. Not for himself but for us.
So if he is so willing to help us, then we should help him get him a job. Put him in some scrubs and I can see him playing Meredith Grey’s new love interest on Grey’s Anatomy. He can be McHottie. Or how about putting him in a suit and have him be the newest agent on NCIS or NCIS: LA or NCIS: NoLA or NCIS: wait is there a fourth one? Or make him a hipster and have him date Caroline Channing on 2 Broke Girls. Or better yet, how hot would he be as a fireman on Chicago Fire. He is so versatile, there has to be a role for him on one of the shows.
Now what do I want him to get me? Diamonds from Kay because they are a girls’ best friend. I think that is doable!
So the newest trend on the internet is can you find something in a photo. Someone posted a photo on Bored Panda with 7 miniature versions of Kim Kardashian’s naked butt incorporated into a fruit stand. How many can you find?
I have only found two, but then I realized I am looking for Kim Kardashian’s huge a$$ and I had to stop. I like eating fruit too much to have my love for it disappear because every peach I see will be remind her of her bum.
