BTWF roles: Justin Baldoni in Spring Break Shark Attack
November 2nd, 2015 under Before They Were Famous, Jane the Virgin, Justin Baldoni. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 5:12 in)

Before Justin Baldoni was dealing with the deadly Sin Rosto on Jane the Virgin, he was dealing with blood thirsty sharks in Spring Break Shark Attack. He looks the same now as did when he was 20 in that 2005 telemovie.

Ron Funches and his Undateable mini-me
November 2nd, 2015 under Bill Lawrence, Ron Funches. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, we saw the cast of Undateable dressed up for Halloween as a Centaur, Winne the Pooh, the Captain from the Titanic, Pizza Rat, Jewish Wolverine and sexy Steve Jobs, and this week we are getting to see them as lovable puppets. Ron Funches, who is already a lovable puppet, modeled his mini-me and it is too awwwwdorable for words.
If this is what this week’s episode on NBC is going to be like, then Friday at 8p can’t come soon enough. Plus, it will be interesting to see if this week’s prop will mess them up during the live show. It is so much fun to watch them crack up uncontrollably during the live show. In case you didn’t know, Undateable is live every week. The only scripted show that has been able to say that in over 20 years.

Supergirl’s second episode is even more super than the first one!
November 2nd, 2015 under DC Comics, Superman/Spider-Man. [ Comments: none ]

While almost every new show this season found that their second episode was not as good as their pilot, Supergirl‘s is actually so much better.
Kara (Melissa Benoist) is ready to be Supergirl, but tonight at 8p on CBS she finds out very quickly she isn’t. When there is a massive fire threatening an oil tanker, she blows on the flames but it only makes it worse. She decides to move the tanker, but it breaks apart and oil spills into the water. Now, everyone in National City hates her including her boss who wrote an article bad mouthing the superhero. When Kara asks Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) what advice she would have Supergirl, she says she would tell her to start out small and work her way up.
Taking that piece of knowledge to heart, she asks Wynn (Jeremy Jordan) and Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) to help her out. They listen to the scanners and she uses her superpowers on individuals as compared to planes and such.
All of this is helping her clean up her image and now Cat wants an interview with her. So much so, the newspaper honcho tells Jimmy to make it happen or he can go back to The Daily Planet. Will Kara do the interview and risk her boss finding out who she is?
To make matters even more complicated the Department of Extra-Normal Operations is testing her abilities out to see if she is ready for the job.
All of this leads to Supergirl meeting her Aunt Astra (Laura Benanti) and let’s just say it isn’t a happy family reunion. What happens when they meet? All I will say is you don’t want to miss it.
And this is only a few elements of the things that happen in this jam packed episode. It honestly feels like you are watching a 2 hour movie, in a hour. Even though that is a lot to get in the short amount of time, they make it work. It truly is an enjoyable hour of television that the whole family can watch together.
I think the reason why Supergirl connects with the audience the way that it does, is because it made with a lot of heart. There is also a genuine innocence to it and these days that is missing from a lot of shows. Those are just two of the many elements that make this show so super!

Belle is caught between a beauty and the beast
November 2nd, 2015 under Fox, Josh Peck. [ Comments: 2 ]

Hey John Stamos, your show Grandfathered got picked up for a full season, what are you going to do? He’s going to go to Disneyland of course and he is going to take some of his cast members with him to celebrate!
What do you if you are him at the Happiest Place on Earth, then you are going to visit the Disney Princesses.
Looks like he is taking his role of playing a dad to Josh Peck seriously even when they are not working. That’s because when he introduced his TV son to Belle, he gave him some advice on how to pick her up. Did it work? I think it looks like she is into him.
But then again, maybe they are asking if she would like to be their guest in a three-way?

Pamela Anderson is selling the Baywatch bathing suit off her body!
November 2nd, 2015 under Pamela Anderson. [ Comments: 1 ]

Pamela Anderson has decided to part ways with one the red bathing suits she wore on Baywatch and she’s doing it for a good cause. She explained her decision on eBay, “I’d like to Auction off my Baywatch bathing suit – It’s been put to good use on and off the set…;).” Then she added, “Now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. While…I put the donation to even better use. The Pamela Anderson Foundation supports people on the front lines of change. Doing our part to help vulnerable people, animals and nature’s precious habitats…”
Ladies for $50,000, you can look just like CJ Parker for the special man in your life. Or men for $50,000, you can pretend that you have your fantasy girl available whenever you want.
No word if it smells like her. Although, for some I am sure that is a major selling point.
