Before Jussie Smollett had two older brothers on Empire, he was the middle child with four brothers and two sisters on On Our Own. How awwwdorable was the 10 year old in that 1994 sitcom?

Not the green you want to see on the golf course!
March 11th, 2015 under Odd. [ Comments: none ]

Fore, there’s a huge alligator on the 7, is not something you would expect to hear when you playing golf. But that is exactly what several golfers faced when they were playing a game at the Myakka Pines Golf Club in Engelwood, Florida the other day.
Talk about a handicap because who is going to be stupid enough to dare to go near that gator to get their ball in the hole. I don’t think that all the clubs in your bag would take out that guy. Granted, I don’t think any of the golfers would do the deed, isn’t that why they have caddies?
So what do you do while you wait for him to go back to where ever he came from? You take out your camera until he goes away. Then you pray that someone takes him out because he would make a nice pair of shoes, a belt, a golf club bag and maybe a purse for the wife.
BTW I hope that Syfy sees these photos because I think it would make a great movie of the week, Gatolf.

UPDATE: Here is one more photo of Gatolf that shows just how massive he really is. Where is Caddyshack’s Carl Spackler (Bill Murray) when you really need him?

Josh Groban Stages an album full of musical numbers!
March 11th, 2015 under Josh Groban. [ Comments: none ]

On April 28th, Josh Groban will release his 7th studio album and this is one he has wanted to do since he was a freshman at Carnegie Mellon. This record is tribute to the many great songs from the musicals he grew up with as a kid and some he is not as familiar with. After listening to two of the tracks from the upcoming CD, you can tell his voice is made to make these songs even more special.
I am very particular about Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory because I don’t think anyone can do it as well as Gene Wilder. I think that Groban came pretty gosh darn close. The control he has over his powerful voice is mind blowing to me. What is also mind blowing to me about his voice is that I can’t believe it is coming out of the same man I follow on Twitter, talk about night and day.
The other track I heard off the album is What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line. I can picture Groban in the show on Broadway and him bringing down the curtain with that performance. Close your eyes and picture him closing the show with that number. Just forget that it is a woman singing it in the original version of the Broadway show and the movie.
Another song I can’t wait to hear him do, is another female melody and it is Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz. In the Stages’ trailer you hear just a snippet of it, and he really lowered his voice to bring out the true emotion of the song just like Judy Garland did.
April 28th can’t come soon enough for me because Stages is going to be one of the few albums I will have the entire record on repeat. Josh Groban singing the songs from musicals, equals an album the Grammy voters will have a hard time ignoring.
I say that he will break more than a few legs with his album. Bravo sir, bravo!

Can you tell this Family Feud contestant is a teenage boy?
March 11th, 2015 under Steve Harvey. [ Comments: none ]

Steve Harvey asked the contestants on Family Feud, “We talked to 100 men, if you were a hospital patient what would you rather have a female nurse do for you than a male nurse.” Sixteen year old Anthony told the host, “You see, I got groin problems…I probably, check my groin.” It wasn’t only that he said the answer, he was also demonstrating what he wanted her to do to him.
The fact that he did that on national television, proves that he is a teenage boy. Plus, he was just so cute as he let his hormones answer the question for him!

The American Idol judges judge Peeps Milk!
March 11th, 2015 under American Idol 9+, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: 1 ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KHOhzeGOXQ
Last week Prairie Farms announced that they came out with three flavors of Peeps Milk for Easter and yesterday Jimmy Kimmel Live had the American Idol judges try it. Harry Connick Jr was the first one to give it a go and he got the chocolate marshmallow flavor. Next up was Keith Urban who likes his eggnog. Finally, even though Jennifer Lopez resisted it as first, she agreed to give the plain old marshmallow a try. All three judges downed their glasses of sweet, sugar-filled milk and declared “It’s going to Hollywood.” Hopefully, the evil people at Prairie Farms will hear them because the circus in a glass,” is currently not available outside the Midwest. Nothing good ever comes to Los Angeles!
Before the judges tried the heavenly drink, Jimmy had some great one liners to describe it. They are, “It tastes like what I imagine what it would taste like to be breastfed by a mother clown,” and “I will say this, the reason that they sell this for Easter, is when you drink it you are like Jesus.” Amen!
