Boo! ABC is all Halloween, all the time tonight and you don’t want to miss a single spooky episode!
At 8p, the words you never thought you would hear, you are going to hear on The Middle. Brick (Atticus Shaffer) decides he doesn’t want to go Trick or Treating because he has a date with a living girl! How will that go? Just as you would expect.
But the episode isn’t only about him, Axl has a paper due and he hasn’t even started it. So his parents (Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn) tell him to go to a place called the library. A place he is not familiar with and he doesn’t even know where this strange building is. Once he finds it, he finds the perfect place to work on his paper. Only problem is he spent too much time on it and now he is locked in there. How will he do spending his first night alone? Let’s just say Charlie McDermott gives his best performance yet. There are several moments where you will be laughing so hard that you will have candy corn coming out of your nose.

Then at 8:30p, Pops (George Segal) moves in with The Goldbergs. Murray (Jeff Garlin) doesn’t want it, but like what he says matters to Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey). Pops moving in, has a deep impact on the relationship between Adam (Sean Giambrone) and his mom. Something that they are still dealing with to this day.
Then there is Barry (Troy Gentile) who saves his sister, Erica (Hayley Orrantia)from eating Pop Rocks and drinking soda at the same time. Now, she owes him for saving her life and you’ll never believe what he wants. Will he get it?
At 9p, it is time for another Halloween episode of Modern Family and it is Awesomeland!
Phil (Ty Burrell) wants to decorate the house like it is Awesomeland; but when Claire (Julie Bowen) finds out her new neighbors are having a scariest house contest, she redecorates. Phil is not happy about it.
Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) is mad that Cam (Eric Stonestreet) shows up in the wrong costume to her school and then ditches her school’s parade to go to work. Will she forgive her dad?
And did I mention Jay’s (Ed O’Neill) costume includes hair! That is enough reason to tune in.
Finally, ABC saved the best for last with Black-ish. Dre (Anthony Anderson) loves to prank his family, but this year they have had enough. He can’t handle his kids turning away from his pranking ways and it only gets worse for him when they tell him they won’t dress up in a family costume. Will he finally get the Halloween he wants or is his holiday ruined?
You just have to tune in for four great spooktacular episodes to fond out!
Last week, Hollywood was rocked by Renee Zellweger’s new face, this week we were all silenced by a beardless Kevin Smith and today Patricia Heaton debuted her new look? The Middle mom asked this with the photo, “Who says Hollywood actresses are plastic?” After this photo, I think we all are. But only during Halloween week.
The other day Joe Jonas Instagrammed a photo of himself making the same face as the puppy he was holding, and today he did the same thing but with a kitty cat. Some actors are good at imitating other people’s voices and/or faces, but the middle Jonas Brother is good at mimicking pets’ expressions. Who knew that was his special talent? Well, now we all do!!! And I am glad that we do because it is too arfdorable.
Taylor Swift was being interviewed by CTV’s etalk and the singer said that her cats don’t make the sounds that normal cats make. Then she imitated Meredith and Olivia’s meowing, which other cat owners, like me, are familiar with. That is the kittens way of using their voices to let their owners know they are saying noooooooo. Luckily, for me, my pussy doesn’t make that sound that often.
So while NYC’s latest Global Welcome Ambassador (WTF?) thinks her fur babies are possessed, we know that they are not. But then again if she was my master, I would be making hissing like that all the time. Like lady, show some freaking emotion and stop being so uptight. Seriously, she didn’t even flinch or show any emotion as she shared her cats’ music. What is up with that?

This Halloween season over 2.5 million kids are going to dress up as a character from Frozen, and Josh Gad tried his hardest to get Jimmy Kimmel to dress up as Olaf. The actor even reworked a tune from every little girls’ favorite movie, but it didn’t work. So off went the voice of the snowman from Disney’s newest classic shedding tears and not ice drops from the heat of the studio lights.
I guess you can say that the ABC late night host’s heart is a lot colder than Olaf’s and nothing can melt it. While Kimmel might have heart made out of solid ice, mine is not and it melted for Gad and what was left of it broke when he was rejected. Where does your heart stand?
