The newest Hulk meets his original alter ego
July 28th, 2014 under Marvel Comics, Strange Encounters. [ Comments: 1 ]

via Yahoo Celebrity
Leave it to Comic-Con to get two of the Hulks together and that is exactly what happened when The Avengers Mark Ruffalo met The Incredible Hulk’s Lou Ferrigno.
After seeing the two of them together, I think that Ruffalo is the first David Banner to capture Bill Bixby’s essence. Too bad CGI has eliminated the need for the likes of Ferrigno because I think the 1978 version was more realistic than the 2012 one. What about you?
BTW I just have to say it, “Hulk smash!”

BTWF roles: Freddie Prinze Jr on Family Matters
July 28th, 2014 under Before They Were Famous, Freddie Prinze Jr / Sarah Michelle Gellar. [ Comments: none ]

Before Freddie Prinze Jr could legally carry a gun on 24, he was doing it illegally on Family Matters. He looks the same now as he did when he was 18 in that 1995 episode.

Did TV Land cancel Kirstie?
July 28th, 2014 under Kirstie Alley, TV Land. [ Comments: none ]

Kirstie Alley returned to television late last year with Cheers co-star Rhea Perlman and Seinfeld actor Michael Richards, and TV Land has yet to say whether the show was picked up or cancelled. Well today, Perlman’s husband, Danny DeVito Tweeted, “Come on they canceled Kirstie! Fools!” Which kind of explains Alley‘s Tweet from earlier in the day, “The first thing to do after you’ve been knocked down is to get up… ALWAYS remember to get up. It’s the only way you can begin anew..:)” TV Land has yet comment either way as of now.
But I wouldn’t blame them if they did because the show was too much and too little at the same time. I tried to like it, but there wasn’t anything there to like about it. Although Perlman was great in her role, but then again what isn’t she good in?

Is this the strangest thing Rob Lowe has done since the 1989 Oscars?
July 28th, 2014 under Brat Pack, Rob Lowe. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1989, Rob Lowe sang a really weird duet with Snow White. No one ever thought his career would jump the shark that badly again, and we were wrong. Today, Discovery released a promo for Shark Week starring the St Elmo’s Fire star, and I just don’t know what to make of it. It is so bizarre that I think if it were a few seconds longer, it would be the worst thing he has done for his career since sex tape. The movie, that is.
And yet after saying all of that, I kind of like it. It’s groovy enough for me to groove to. What do you think of it?
BTW Shark Week starts on at August 10th and you don’t want to miss it. I hear they will turn you into chum meat if you do.
