NYC is cracking down on subway pole dancers |

For some reason NYC doesn’t want people riding the subway to use their poles to entertain the other passengers, so they are arresting any one who does according WNYW. Why? I have no idea because who are they hurting? I would rather watch someone pole dance, then watch a guy dance with his pole. Wouldn’t you? And it is not like these pole dancers work on 42nd Street, if you know what I mean.
So please, explain to me what is wrong with having some fun on the subway? Remember, when no one wanted to ride on one. Now, they have something to pass the time as they get to their destination. So I say let them dance. Who’s with me?

NBC hires The Night Shift for a second shift! |

NBC announced today that The Night Shift will be back for a second season according to The Hollywood Reporter. The medical drama has been doing well for the network and I think they made a wise decision by bringing it back for another season. Now, if only they would also pick up Undateable, all would be right for NBC’s summer.
I sincerely love that summer TV is now full of original programming and some of it, like TNS, is better than some of the stuff we see in the fall.
If you’ve never seen the show, make sure to check it tonight at 10p. Tonight’s episode is very powerful one as several soldiers come into the hospital with injuries. One doctor will fight to save a soldier’s leg and another doctor will fight to keep their secret a secret. Something that will prove very hard to do.

Justin Bieber loves to share Selfies and the latest one he showed off a lot of skin. That photo makes it appear as though the singer is naked. And that is more than I needed to see. My poor eyes.

Mariah Carey likes to show us how normal she is by posting photos on Instagram of herself doing things that you and I do. For example, riding the subway or taking her kids to the park. Yesterday, she shared a picture of herself walking her dog, Cha Cha, at night and it is the most normal she’s looked out of all those scenarios. Instead of being dressed to the nines, she went out in public with her natural curls, no makeup, a black shirt, black pants and napsack purse. You know what, if she did this more often, I think we would all like her so much more. I know I like seeing the real Mariah over the Diva Mimi. What about you?

Fox cancels Hieroglyph months before it was going to air |

Back in May, Fox announced that Fox’s Chairman of Entertainment, Kevin Reilly, was stepping down at the end of the June. Yesterday, on the last day of the month, they announced the first show that he gave his thumbs up for that will not be airing. That show was Hieroglyph. The midseason replacement was set to be a sexy tale during Ancient Egypt times and was picked up before the network even saw a pilot. According to Entertainment Weekly the first episode was shot, and producers talked to Fox about the others ones. It was then that the network decided not to move forward with it. Personally, I think they made the right choice because the show would’ve bombed. That era doesn’t do well on television.
Too bad Fox doesn’t have Almost Human to fill that airtime because they cancelled the fan favorite in place of this failed show that won’t even air.
