Jennifer Lawrence was on The Tonight Show and she said the word boobs a lot during her chat with Jay Leno. First she was told the NBC host about the time she got into a car accident in Georgia. She saw women wearing stashes that said “boobs”, but she thought it said “Boo Boo” for Honey Boo Boo Child. Then she saw a little girl and thought it was the biggest star of Toddlers & Tiaras, and crashed into the car in front of her. Luckily there was no damage to any car, but her pride definitely suffered a ding.
Although that was pretty bad, that was not the worst of what happened to her when she was there. She also shared the story how she went to a dive bar with older strippers and one of the women decided to give her a lap dance. Then the woman told her not to touch as she bent over and stuck her boob in Katniss’ mouth. Gives new meaning to Hunger Games don’t you think?
I think it is refreshing to see a young star like her be so personable on a talk show and not uplight like so many of the other ones that are part of a franchise that just ended.
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb were guests on Anderson Live and they had their fill of double entendres on the show today. First the two ladies got him drunk and then he read from Fifty Shades of Chicken. Anderson Cooper’s reading of the cookbook was so serious that there was nothing sizzling about it. He couldn’t cook a chicken with that storytelling even it is was already done. What made that part of their conversation so funny were Kathie Lee and Hoda’s expressions as he taught them how to make cooking a chicken steamy.
Now you would think it would stop there, and you would be wrong. The Today show hosts decided to fill the crack in the middle of his forehead aka eye cleavage with Dermaflage and it was too hot for daytime TV. As they were preparing to put the filler where it need to go, Hoda said “This is the filler…Put it in the crack.” To which Anderson responded with, “A phrase I’ve never used.” Then when they were almost done and going to commercial break, Kathie Lee didn’t want to be left out so she said “When we come back we will see if it filled your crack.” Sadly that video was not included, but do you really care because that is not the crack you want to see if they filled.
It is moments like this one that make me sad that his show won’t be back for a third season.
NBC has released its first major preview for the second season of Smash and I can’t wait for the show to come back on February 5th. It appears that going in a new a direction will only make the show stronger, and it was pretty strong to begin with. Seriously all I have to say after watching that is “Bravo, bravo!”
Last week the world of Sesame Street was rocked when a man claimed that he had sex with Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo, when he was a minor. Clash took a leave of absence from the job to prove his innocence and by the end of the week, the accuser reportedly took a settlement deal and said that he did not hook up with Clash until he was 18. Then it was reported that accuser regretted his decision and once again claimed he really did have a sexual relationship with Clash when he was minor. Then it seemed like the story would go away until this morning when TMZ reported a second man filed a lawsuit against Clash claiming he had sex with him when he was 15.
It was too much for Clash to handle and he resigned from his job as the voice of Elmo effective immediately. The NY Times posted the below statement from Sesame Workshop on his departure:
Sesame Workshop’s mission is to harness the educational power of media to help all children the world over reach their highest potential. Kevin Clash has helped us achieve that mission for 28 years, and none of us, especially Kevin, want anything to divert our attention from our focus on serving as a leading educational organization. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job and has resigned from Sesame Street. This is a sad day for Sesame Street.
Once this all settles down, I am sure Clash can find work at Avenue Q or one of those other adult shows with puppets. Although I am sure he has made some good money being one of the most recognizable voices in the world.
