Kelly Clarkson Tweeted the above picture and said, “Sprained my foot and have a hairline fracture but the show must go on people ha! Thank you @ashes2lashes & @Jillandkate for the help!” She didn’t explain how she hurt her foot, but hopefully she will tell us all about it on Duets this Thursday. And let’s hope that it is something funny and fitting for an American Idol.
Hey Kelly, get Stronger soon.
On the day that the Mayans predicted the end of the world Tom Cruise’s latest movie Jack Reacher is coming out and now I get why they saw that day as an end date. It is not that the movie looks that bad, it’s just I don’t believe him as a kick a$$ vigilante because of his height. He is just not intimidating when he is surrounded by all of these tall guys. So I did some research according to author, Lee Child who gave Reacher life in his books, the character’s measurements are 6’5″, 220-250 lbs., 50″ chest and that is so not Tom Cruise who is about a foot shorter than that. Is his height a problem for you as much as it is to me?
The trailer for the Lifetime’s remake of Steel Magnolias starring Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Adepero Oduye and Condola Rashad is out and I will rewatch the original one instead. It’s like they took all the humor and heart of it. And don’t get me started on the lack of Southern accents, thus why it is called Steel Magnolias. Plus I think that Queen Latifah should’ve played Truvy and Phylicia should’ve been M’Lynn.
Even though I will not be watching, I am sure this remake will find a huge audience.
Back in May Van Halen postponed a bunch of their US dates claiming that they bit off more than they can chew. Well now Ticketmaster is listing those dates as cancelled according to Pollstar, but no reason was given why they are no longer happening. Even though, as you can see in the above video that, David Lee Roth says everything is fine between the band, people are going to doubt him and think that they are going to split once again. Does anyone know if Sammy Hagar is available?
Andy Griffith passed away today at the age of 86 according to WITN. The actor was best known for playing Sheriff Andy Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show and Ben Matlock on Matlock. For the latter part of the 20th century he was a big part of our television viewing, so today take some time and watch one of his classic shows to keep his memory alive. Or if you are like me watch his last movie Play the Game, which a sweet enjoyable film that you never get tired of watching.
