Ever since Dawson’s Creek ended its six-season run in 2003, fans have been wanting a reunion. And they are finally getting one.
Well, sort of. For the first time since they filmed the series finale, eleven of the cast members are getting together in New York City to raise money for Fuck Cancer and James Van Der Beek. James revealed in November that he is battling stage 3 colorectal cancer.
Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Mary Beth Peil, John Wesley Shipp, Mary-Margaret Humes, Nina Repeta, Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe, and Busy Phillips will be holding a table read of the pilot episode. The latter three were not part of the first episode, which aired on January 20, 1998, so the trio will be reading other parts.
Michelle Williams said in a statement, “We grew up in Capeside, and that’s a bond that will last a lifetime. We wanted to gather around our dear friend James and remind him that we are all here. We always have been, and we always will be. And I know the fans of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ feel the same way.”
And fans can be there for them by buying tickets to the table read, which will take place on September 22nd at the Richard Rodgers Theater.
If the organizers are smart, they will put it online and allow fans, outside of Manhattan, to purchase tickets to the screening.
Donald Trump took over the Kennedy Center and turned the premiere performing arts center into a shitty one. Therefore, celebrities have been walking away from it in droves.
Earlier this week, Mr. Orange held a press conference and revealed who will be honored at this year’s Kenney Centers, and they are George Strait, KISS, Michael Crawford, Gloria Gaynor, and Sylvester Stallone. Not only that, he said he will be hosting the event later this year.
After the announcement, fans of the I Will Survive singer have urged her to turn down the award. As of now, she has not said what she will do.
While her fate is still undecided, Tom Cruise’s is reportedly decided. According to what sources told The Washington Post, the actor turned down the honor due to “scheduling conflicts.”
Is that the real reason? We will never know because he is good at keeping his private life private.
While he does that, I will be thinking he turned it down because he wants nothing to do with this administration.
Ever since Dawson’s Creek ended its run in 2003, people have wanted to see Joey and Pacey together again. And now they will. Well, sort of.
Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes are reuniting on screen for the trilogy Happy Hours, which the actress is also writing and directing.
“I am so very grateful to be working again with so many of my wonderful friends on this film HAPPY HOURS. And working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship,” Holmes wrote. “HAPPY HOURS is a love story that includes so many people I adore. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we make.”
According to Deadline, the movies are described as a story about two people (Jackson and Holmes) navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles. It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hope.
This is the first time that I am happy that Doctor Odyssey got cancelled. Because if it was not, Jackson would not be able to make these films.
Brad Pitt’s latest movie, F!, had its London premiere tonight, and the actor was greeted by an old friend. Tom Cruise crashed the gray carpet, and the two co-stars had a sweet reunion.
Can you believe that it has been 30 years since their movie, Interview with a Vampire, came out? I am beginning to think, not only did they play Vampires, but they really are blood suckers. How else do you explain that they barely aged in three decades? I mean, Lestat is 62, and Louis is 61, and they don’t act or look it. How else would you explain it?
Yesterday, on The Tonight Show, Tom Cruise and the cast from Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell and Greg Tarzan Davis, along with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, performed an a cappella version of the show/movie’s theme song.
To start things off, the host took off his mask to reveal that he is the action star. Now, everything makes sense. Cruise has been masquerading as Fallon all of this time. Therefore, there never was a Jimmy Fallon. Mind blown.
