Russell Brand was on Conan O’Brien yesterday and he told the TBS late night host the time he hung at Charlie Sheen’s during his winning period. Sadly it is not as exciting as we would hope, but still Brand made it sound like a lot more interesting that it really was. Especially when he answered the rumor if he took the Anger Management star to Yoga.
You know hearing that Brand and Sheen are kind of friends, makes hope that FX gives them an Odd Couple like show. Their bromance will make great TV.
Channing Tatum is making the press rounds for Magic Mike and today the former-stripper was on the Today show. But unlike his other appearances, he actually showed off some of his moves that drive the women crazy. While I thought the flash mob was OK, I would’ve loved it even more and think it would’ve made more sense if they used men in the mob. I mean it is a movie about male strippers and not female ones. I guess that would be too racy for the early morning “news” show.
And by the looks of it at least Ann Curry is going out with a bang…thanks to Joe Manganiello. Bam chicka wow wow…
William Shatner was on The Late Late Show yesterday and he got Craig Ferguson to feel him up. But there was a reason why he wanted the CBS late night host to pat him down. He needed it done so that Captain Kirk could demonstrate his most embarrassing moment. Recently when he was going to fly on a plane, not the USS Enterprise, to South Africa and he made sure that he was wearing very loose clothes so he would get any blood clots from the long flight. Well when TJ Hooker was going through security the bell went off because of his metal hip and he had to have the TSA guy check him out. When the agent was patting him down, he had a Denny Crane moment and his pants fell down. Because he didn’t want to wear anything binding he revealed something that made him scream at Kahn at the agent. If ever he needed Rescue 911, it was at that moment.
But then again am I the only one who wants to know if he has a Big Giant Head as his Third Rock from the Sun???
A few years ago Oprah Winfrey was so huge that she could get whoever she wanted to interview on her show just by calling them. And today to quote Meat Loaf “It was long ago and it was far away and it was so much better that it is today” for her. The former-Queen of Daytime seems to be so desperate to get people to watch her OWN network that she is going to appear on Keeping Up with The Kardashians. That’s right according to what a source told Us Weekly Oprah has already signed on to do the show. Two years ago, I don’t think she would ever have sunk to such a low. But that was then and this is now.
So today take a moment and mourn what you used to be the great Lady O. Televisions around the world have shed a tear because one of the mighty ones has fallen so low that even Neilsen Boxes can’t detect their former leader anymore.

TLC continues to amaze me with the type of shows that they consider topics I want to learn about. Now I admit I like the concept of Strange Sex, but for some reason I am not as grossed out about it when it is on Skinemax. But when it is on The Learning Channel and it is couple talking about how the guy gets turned on by breastfeeding from his wife, I want to ban all guys from the doing the same to a non-lactating me. I don’t know why this clip creeped me out so much, but it did. And because of it I am going to be doubling up on calcium pills cause I don’t know when I will want to drink milk again.
BTW my favorite part from that clip is when the uptight woman describes what a fetish is. Like duh.
