Kate Gosselin and Donald Trump both have an abundance of things, she has lots of kids and he has lots and lots of money. So what is the thing that both that they both want a lot of? They both want lots and lots of media attention, so it is only natural at some point they would meet up. It is just where they met up that surprised me. Kate Plus 8 and The Apprentice boss were seen together backstage at another media whore’s event…a Lady Gaga concert at MSG. Yep you read that right they both spent the night watching Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. Maybe The Donald thought it was casino act and the mother of 8 thought it was a Paparazzi event because of the song and we know she loves the paparazzi.
Anyways Fame Pictures is thinking that it wasn’t a chance meeting between the two, they are saying that Kate might be one of the “celebrities” on Celebrity Apprentice in the spring. I hope it isn’t so because it was bad enough we had to suffer through her on Dancing with the Stars. Plus if we thought that Holly Robinson Peete was a bitch, she will look like a sweetheart as compared to Kate.

For months Jared Leto has been sporting a bleached blonde mohawk and I personally thought that look wasn’t working for him. Well yesterday the 30 Second from Mars singer was pictured without that mohawk, sadly though he still has the peroxide colored hair. Hopefully he will go back to be brunette soon because the darker hair brings out those beautiful eyes of his as compared this color that washes him out.
Ringo Starr turned 70, yes the big 7-0, and to celebrate he played Radio City Music Hall with his All Starrs! The biggest All Star came out during the second encore to wish him a very special happy birthday and that was his former bandmate Paul McCartney! The two surviving Beatles jammed to their hit Birthday and what a f*cking performance it was. The 68 year old and the birthday boy were playing like it was 1968 and not 2010. Seriously they were totally moving like they did when they were fab four. I can seriously watch that performance over and over again because it was that f*cking awesome. Just like I wish I was alive to have seen The Beatles play live, I wish I was there yesterday to see just that one song in person. Seriously wow!
BTW Paul McCartney wasn’t the only surprise from his Beatles past, John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono joined him to sing Give Peace a Chance and good to see that they are giving peace a chance.

I think this was a great year for the Emmys because they were not as elitist as year’s past and nominated shows that people watch and like. Yes their favorites still got in there, but so did other shows like Glee, Modern Family, Friday Night Lights and True Blood. Way to go!
Congrats to the Modern Family cast (except for poor Ed O’Neill and Rico Rodriguez) who got well deserved nominations, too bad the Academy didn’t think the show was worthy of one. Also dissed in that category was The Big Bang Theory, but Jim Parsons received his second nom. Also nominated from CBS Monday comedies were Neil Patrick Harris for How I Met Your Mother and Jon Cryer and Holland Taylor for Two and Half Men and I don’t think any of them were really deserving this year. Not that I don’t love them, but both comedies were not as good this year as they were in season’s past. At least Charlie Sheen and the actress who played his ex-fiancee’ on the show did not get noms. Glee of course got several noms and Lea Michele is the new America Ferrera…if you know what I mean. Congrats to Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch and Mike O’Malley on their noms for Glee. Now when it comes to the Showtime noms for Nurse Jackie and United States of Tara, I know the shows are 30 minutes long but does that really mean they are comedies?
Now when it comes to the drama category, I have to admit I don’t watch most of the noms. Although I am happy for Michael C Hall for Dexter, Kyle Chadler for Friday Night Lights, Andre Braugher for Men of a Certain Age, Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn for Lost and the show for getting the nom.
Now it will be interesting to see will the Emmys stick with their favs or will they branch out for the newer and better shows? Let’s hope they change things up.
