Eli Roth, who is critiqued for his violence in movies Hostel and Hostel 2 (which I don’t get), directed and is starring in a PSA for PETA to tell people to report any violence they see happening towards animals because that abuse might lead to future crimes against humans. What The Bear Jew is saying is absolutely true because research has proven that there is a link between animal abuse and serial killers, Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz aka the Son of Sam and Jeffrey Dahmer all abused or killed animals at some point in their lives. Maybe if someone took the time to report the heinous crimes that they did to animals they would not have become the murders they became? So if you see some sicko hurting a poor innocent dog or cat or mouse, report the crime ASAP. You never know who you might be stopping.
Now on a lighter side, whoever thought we would we see Eli with a bigger prosthetic snake than the one we saw him with between his legs when he was promoting Hostel 2???
Vampire Diaries is the story of two brothers…one good, one bad and both are Vampires. Stefan is the good one who returns home to his hometown that was slaughtered by his kind decades beforehand. He is now reformed and at his first day back home and at high school (I guess even Vampires need an education) he meets Elena, a girl who looks exactly like his lover from 100 years ago. To say these two have chemistry would be an understatement! But there budding love might be short lived because Stefan’s bloodsucking brother is back in town and he can’t stop feeding on human. Will the town remember their past horrors and start to put the pieces together as more and more mauled bodies keep showing up? I know I can’t wait to find out starting tonight on The CW at 8p!!!
I watched the pilot for this a few months ago and I loved it. I re-watched it again this morning before I worte this review to see if I would still feel the same way and the answer is no. I actually liked it even more! The cast is eye candy, but they are also good at acting out the different roles the play. Stefan is played by Paul Wesley and he has angelic look behind his bad boy image. He looks like he should be bad, but you can tell he good. Now Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon is the opposite, he looks like an angel but underneath that face you can tell he is a demon waiting to get out. Who knew Boone from Lost could be so evil, and you will like that he is as much as I do! Following 90210’s Shenae Grimes from Degrassi to The CW is Nina Dobrev and she is so good as Elena. It is so nice to see the Degrassi alumni make it to primetime. Hopefully Nina will handle it better and I think she will.
Now when it comes to shows about Vampires, I am a sucker for them. But they have to be worth my while to keep me interested and this one so does! What I really like is they will be changing up the mythology we know about Vampires and I am intrigued with that notion. Heck I am just beyond intrigued to watch this show play out starting tonight on The CW at 8p!
And oh yeah make sure to stick around at 9p because all hell is breaking loose on Supernatural and that is bad for The Winchester boys, but good for us because it is going to be a heck of season fighting to restore our world to the way it was before they let Lucifer out to play!!!

So yesterday I posted pictures of Kim Cattrall getting her ’80s on for Sex and the City 2 and the last week I did the same for Sarah Jessica Parker. I was wishing and hoping and praying that it would stop there, but no… Now we are getting to see SJP in a Madonna look from the me decade and and Cynthia Nixon sporting a Howdy Dowdy wig for her flashback in time. I want to know what the ’80s and we did to deserve this. Seriously were those actresses such divas during the first movie that the people who worked on it were looking for a way to get back at them? Obviously Kristen Davis is their favorite because she looks exactly the same, but did we expect any different for her character’s younger look?
BTW just for this sacrilege that the movie has done for ’80s I am boycotting it and the first one too! Yeah that’s right I haven’t seen the Sex and the City movie and I proudly admit it!!!
Yesterday it was announced that Ellen DeGeneres would be the fourth Judge on American Idol which means that Paula Abdul is officially out of work. So last on The Late Late Show, Craig Ferguson demonstrated what could be her next TV job. Craig really does a good Paula, looks like he had to go back to the days he wrote about in his book American on Purpose that is out on September 22nd to really transform in to her. Make sure to watch it all the way through because the last one is the best!
And since you know he live, he was too busy prepping for the show that goes on 3 hours after the announcement to mention that Ellen is the new Judge! LOL! Seriously what awesome timing was that skit, since you know it was live!

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! they debuted the trailer to much anticipated TV movie Kate is Enough: The Kate Gosselin Story starring Kathy Griffin as Kate Gosselin and George Takei as Jon Gosselin. What brilliant casting they did with Kathy as Kate, you know to get one of the most obnoxious people in Hollywood to play one of the most obnoxious women in America. She really captured her essence, don’t you think! And George Takei deserves an Emmy for getting it on with that cheerleader like that! You go Sulu!!!
Tonight on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 12:05a he has on former-Governor Rod Blagojevich. Too bad Kathy was on yesterday or she could’ve asked him to be her date on the next red carpet she walks.
