No more Ocean’s movies!!!
September 12th, 2009 under Movies. [ Comments: 1 ]

Steve Soderberg has confirmed that he will not be doing any more Ocean’s movie according to OK! He says, “For me it was three (movies) and out but any possibility of ever revisiting that ended when Bernie Mac died. I don’t think any of us would want to go back and do that without him, so that’s it.” I don’t mean this as any disrespect, but I have been looking for something positive to come out of the untimely death of Bernie Mac and I think this is it. Because Ocean’s 12 and 13 were really bad and you know 14 would’ve been too.

Capture Citizen Jane tonight on Hallmark!
September 12th, 2009 under Brat Pack, Hallmark, Meat Loaf/Jim Steinman, Sean Patrick Flanery. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight on Hallmark they are premiere the inspirational well-acted movie Citizen Jane. It is the story of a woman whose fiance’, unknowingly to her, killed her beloved aunt. In one day she lost the man she loved and the woman she loved like a mother and she makes it her personal mission to put the man away who took her away from her.
Ally Sheedy is so believable as the woman who solves her aunt’s murder with the help of a cop who never gave up and by reading the mystery novels her aunt loved so much. Meat Loaf is so good as cop, that part of me thinks that he might’ve made a wrong career choice but then if he had we never would have heard his powerful voice and that would be beyond awful. Sean Partick Flanery looks all nice on the outside in the movie, but you can see him as the evil killer that he plays in it.
The movie is so well done, that you never lose interest it and when the movie ends you can see that this can be made in to a series of movies for the network and you will really want to see more of them. In real life Jane Alexander went on to help other families solve the murders of their loved one. Sadly she died two days before production started and you know she will be watching this movie with her aunt in heaven enjoying it as much as I did and you will. So make sure to make sure to watch it tonight on Hallmark at 9p!

BTWF roles: Colin Egglesfield in 12 Days of Terror
September 11th, 2009 under Before They Were Famous, Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place. [ Comments: none ]

Before Colin Egglesfield was working as a chef in a town of sharks on Melrose Place, he was a lifeguard trying to save people from sharks in 12 Days of Terror. How hot does the 30 year old look dressed in those period clothes for the 2004 movie?

Disney set to destroy, I mean remake Yellow Submarine
September 11th, 2009 under Stupid Sequels/Remakes, The Beatles. [ Comments: none ]

In one of the saddest remakes to date and there have been some really sad one, Disney announced that they are remaking Yellow Submarine according to MTV’s Movie Blog. The 3D movie will be directed by Robert Zemeckis, who also worked on the animated movies The Polar Express and the upcoming A Christmas Carol. Here is how is planning on destroying it…

The “new voyage to Pepperland” will include all 16 Beatles songs featured in the original film. Sounds an awful lot like it’s going to be a (fairly) straight remake of the original, in which The Beatles set off on a voyage to save the undersea kingdom of Pepperland from the nefarious Blue Meanies. I’m honestly not sure whether to feel thrilled or mortified.

Yellow Submarine is all about The Beatles, how do remake their movie with half of them no longer with us. Such a sacrilege. So wrong. Too bad John Lennon is too peaceful to haunt Zemeckis and convince him not to touch the classic, but maybe George isn’t as nice?
