HEATHER Mills accused British Airways of humiliating her after staff got a wheelchair instead of a buggy to take her to her flight. The former model, who has an artificial leg, asked her helper: "Have you got it in for me?" Heather, 38, was overhead telling staff: "This is vile! Why are you doing this to me? Don’t you know I have only one leg? Why are you treating me like this?" Heather, involved in a bitter divorce battle with her ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney, checked in at Gatwick airport at 7am for her flight to Brussels. She had requested a wheelchair when she booked her economy flight but apparently expected to get a ride to the departure gate in an electric buggy. A source near the BA desk, whose staff were handling her flight with SN Brussels, said: "Heather’s face fell when she saw the wheelchair. "She was mortified. She asked for an electric buggy but there was not one available. Eventually, after getting a few things off her chest, she decided to walk to the plane. "Heather was clearly worried about how she would look being pushed in a wheelchair. She was very jumpy. "She thought everyone had it in for her. It was very embarrassing for her. She thought she shouldn’t have been put in such an embarrassing position. "It created a bit of a fuss which a fair few people witnessed." Heather was travelling to Brussels with her sister Fiona and newsreader Fiona Bruce last Thursday. She was due to present a petition to the European Parliament calling for dog and cat fur imports into the EU to be banned. But she was furious to find a wheelchair and assistant from OCS Transport Services ready to push her to departure gate 45. After complaining, she made the five-minute journey to catch flight 2122 on foot. Another witness said: "The check-in staff were conscious of Heather’s disability and respectful of it and politely did all they could. "But the situation was beyond their control. A wheelchair was requested and provided. The fact that she chose not to use it was up to her." British Airways confirmed the incident. A spokesman would only say: "We are unable to access the relevant booking details for Miss Mills’ flight. We’ve not received a complaint." A spokesman for Heather confirmed that she had been offered a wheelchair, which she declined, but said there was no altercation.

Just when you think she can’t do anything more bitchy she does something like this. I mean she asked for a wheelchair and that is what she got. If she wanted a buggy, she should’ve asked for it. She has to realize that she is no longer married to Paul McCartney, and they are not going to cater to her every desire anymore.

Sylvester Stallone is premiering his final "Rocky" film Dec. 19 in Las Vegas, where much of it was filmed. Aladdin/Planet Hollywood boss Robert Earl is hosting a daylong "Rocky Balboa" celebration for Stallone, his longtime friend and Planet Hollywood associate. Stallone is giving fans in Las Vegas and Philadelphia a sneak peak. The film, Stallone’s sixth "Rocky," will be shown at Brenden Theatres at the Palms. Earl is inviting many of Stallone’s closest celebrity pals to the event.

And Hilton thinks she’s highly qualified for motherhood, explaining: “I look after animals, so I’d have a lot to give my kids.” In fact, looking after kiddies has become so appealing to Hilton that she recently cut short a night out with Spears, announcing to friends, “We’re going home to the babies. We miss them.”

US ROCKSTAR Chris Robinson will leave Australia bound for LA today with his two-year-old son with Hollywood star Kate Hudson firmly in his grasp. Despite rumours of a reconciliation, The Black Crowes frontman will sign off on his Down Under mercy dash to save his marriage to Goldie Hawn’s daughter when he jets out of Sydney early this morning. After spending the past ten days in the small Far North Queensland town, where his estranged wife is filming the romantic comedy Fool’s Gold, Robinson has packed up and left with the couple’s most important possession – their son Ryder. Flanked by a nanny, the bearded rocker and his similarly long-haired toddler arrived in Sydney yesterday afternoon before keeping a low profile in a city hotel overnight. Robinson was reportedly devastated at being separated from his only child for the two-month Fool’s Gold shoot and has seemingly flown across the world to ensure that didn’t happen. Hudson has had custody of Ryder since arriving in Queensland in late October to begin filming the Hollywood comedy opposite heart-throb Matthew McConaughey, but was not successful in retaining custody of the child up until the shoot wraps later this month. Following a six-year marriage, the couple split in August when Robinson filed for divorce after his wife was alleged to have had an affair with her You, Me And Dupree co-star Owen Wilson – an accusation she denies.

Singer/actor Jennifer Lopez turned to her idol Barbara Streisand when she needed help figuring out which film roles she should accept. The ‘Waiting for tonight’ singer insists she would love to emulate Streisand’s stellar career path, and was thrilled when she offered up career advice. She explains: "I love her and I have the utmost respect for her as being strong and having survived in this business. "A few years ago I sent her two scripts because I wanted to work with her. When she called back, I was too starstruck to talk to her, so my manager took the call. And you know what she told him? ‘Jennifer’s too good for these.’ "It helped me rethink my whole career. Since then, I’ve only done projects I’ve loved doing."
