NBC picks up all of Dick Wolf’s show but one
March 21st, 2024 under Dick Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

Today was a very good day for Dick Wolf, but it wasn’t an excellent one. That is because NBC picked up Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, and Law & Order: SVU for another season. However, they have yet to make a decision about Law & Order: OC, which stars Chris Meloni.

I can see them cancelling that series and moving him back to SVU so that Stabler and Benson can finally be together. And then giving Wolf a new scripted procedural on the network.

After speaking with my cop friend yesterday, I would love to see one based on the Internal Affairs Division. What would you like to see them tackle next?

Pete Davidson cancels himself
March 21st, 2024 under Pete Davidson. [ Comments: none ]

Last May, Pete Davidson had a huge hit on Peacock with the semi-autobiographical dramedy called Bupkis. It did so well that the streaming service picked it up for a second season in June.

However, today in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedian announced that he has opted not to do another season.

“I’ve always seen Bupkis as a window into my life, since it is so personal and about my struggles and family. After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way,” he wrote. “Of all the work I’ve ever done, Bupkis is by far what I’m most proud of. I am so grateful to Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video, Peacock, Universal Television and the amazing cast and writers for helping me create something honest, funny and heartfelt. I do also feel that this part of my life is finished. I’m very excited for this next chapter and for you guys to see the work. Thank you to all who support me for I am forever grateful.”

Are you sad that it won’t be returning?

Sherri Shepherd and Lenny Kravitz’s 15 minutes are up
March 21st, 2024 under Lenny Kravitz, Sherri Shepherd. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, I posted a video of Sherri Shepherd meeting her crush, Lenny Kravitz, for the first time. And I was hoping that this would be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

However, today, we learned that their love affair was over after just 15 minutes or when the interview ended.

That is because the daytime talk show host broke up with him. But he did everything in his power to keep it going. And it was just not enough.

So, we won’t be seeing Sherri Kravitz anytime soon.

While it might be sad for her, it is happy for us! Because we still have a chance! We can be his netted shirt.

Chucky got the nuke codes
March 21st, 2024 under Chucky. [ Comments: none ]

I always wondered who would be the scariest person to have the nuke codes. And then in 2016, I realized it was Donald Trump. I still feel that way.

However, today, I found out who would be the second scariest, and that person is Chucky.

Starting on April 10th on Syfy and USA, the aging and dying Chucky wants to make sure that his name will live on long after he is dead.

So he is going to turn the White House blood red. And then, when he is done, he is going to try to set off the nuclear bomb.

Will he be stopped before it’s too late? There are two ways for us to find out. The first will be watching the second half of the third season. However, we might know sooner than that. How? If Syfy renews the Horror series for a fourth season. And I would be shocked if they didn’t.

Would Josh Lucas do a Sweet Home Alabama sequel?
March 21st, 2024 under Andy Cohen, Reese Witherspoon/Ryan Phillippe. [ Comments: none ]

Josh Lucas was on Watch What Happens Live yesterday, and Andy Cohen wanted to know if he would be interested in doing a sequel to Sweet Home Alabama.

Lucas says he is at the point where he is about to beg Reese Witherspoon to do it. Because it is her call, so when she finally dials his phone, he will be there.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think the 2002 film needs a sequel. It ended perfectly and should be left alone. What do you think?
