You don’t have to be an astronaut to go to Space Camp, you just have to play one on the big screen. That is what Will Arnett, Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks are going to do The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.
Since they really did not go to Space, James Corden thought it would be fun to take them Space Camp for his Late Late Show. How did they do? I think the only way those four will get on a rocket for real is if it is a fake one for a movie like Pratt in Guardians of the Galaxy and Passengers.
They might be able to harmonize Elton John’s Rocket Man perfectly, but that does not make them rocket men.
Will Arnett and Jason Bateman not only play brothers on Arrested Development, they act like that when the cameras are not rolling.
Yesterday, when Gob was on Conan, he told the TBS late night host that he sends his TV bro photos of him when he was a child actor to torture him. Photos no one wants to be reminded of, which is why it was great that he shared a bunch of them on the show. I would feel bad for Bateman if I did not enjoy seeing them so much! The ’80s were cruel to Michael Bluth and Arnett and I grateful for that!
Chuck Barris passed away yesterday at the age of 87 from natural causes according to Variety.
Long before there was Star Search, The Voice, American Idol and all those other talent shows, there was The Gong Show. It was created and hosted by Chuck Farris and he brought his own wacky flair to the show. Before he starred in his own game show, he had created The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game. Shows that either still air in syndication to this day or have been or will be rebooted. This summer The Gong Show returns to ABC with Will Arnett as the host.
Besides changing game shows forever, his “autobiographical” book Confessions of a Dangerous Mind became a big screen lauded film with Sam Rockwell starring as him in 2002. In the story, he claimed to be a CIA Assassin, something he later denied. A secret he took to his grave with him.
Today, you can honor him by rewatching that movie or re/discovering The Gong Show, The Dating Game or The Newlywed Game.
Publicist Lewis Kay Tweeted a photo of two of his clients kissing, so you have to wonder if Will Arnett and Will Forte have something to tell us? He didn’t say, but now we know if Lego Batman was The Last Man on Earth, there would still be love left in the World and it wouldn’t be a battle of the Wills.

Will Arnett is going to be on this tomorrow’s Lip Sync Battle and he is mouthing a song that is very familiar to him. He will be performing Everything is Awesome from that little movie he did last year, The Lego Movie.
The Tegan and Sara song is happy enough as it is, but seeing the words come out from between his lips makes it even happier. Actually it makes everything more awesome because everything is awesome!
To see if he wins the battle, you will just have to tune in to Spike tomorrow at 10p. But let’s be real, there is no way Alison Brie can top that.
