Back in the ’80s, Billy Idol and Boy George caused girls around the world to want a White Wedding with them. Although, one was a little bit punk and the other one was a little bit new wave. Two different types of music that were never meant to go together. Therefore, their fans were left dancing with themselves.
After all of these decades, the Crying Game is over because the two met up after a Culture Club concert. Making it Hot in the City. Maybe now that Time has passed they would consider doing a duet like Rebel Yell Karma Chameleon.
Imagine Boy George’s sweet voice with Idol’s rasp. It would make a lot of Mony Mony! So I say to both singers Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?

Back in the ’80s, Rob Lowe and Robert Downey Jr. were part of the infamous Brat Pack, but yet the two of them never did a movie together. Can you like totally believe that? Finally, after 30 years, the two of them did something together. They took this photo at Gwyneth Paltrow’s wedding this weekend.
I know that John Hughes is no longer with us, but there has to be a way to do a movie with all the Brat Packers. Fifty Candles at the Brunch Club?

Back in the ’80s, girls were saying Oh L’amour to Erasure and wanted to have a White Wedding with Billy Idol, but never the two should meet. Yesterday, when the duo was playing Wiltern in Los Angeles, the rocker was dancing with himself to their tunes.
Then when the show was over they posed for this photo. All I could think of is how cool would it be if Erasure worked their magic with one of his tunes like they did with Abba and he tried to do one of theirs. Heck, I would totally love to see them to a duet to Yahoo. But only because it is one of my all-time favorite songs.
Not only that, I would love to see them tour together. How awesome would that double bill be? I would go see it, but then again out of all of the concerts I have seen, Erasure has remained my favorite and I have never seen Billy Idol.

Back in the ’70s, teenage girls were obsessed with the clean-cut Henry Winkler and his complete opposite rocker Alice Cooper. Back then, the two could never meet up because The Fonz was in the ’50s and the other one was in current time.
That was then, this is now. The two extremes recently met up and gave the girls of the Disco era a dream ménage à trois. Sometimes you want to date the good guy and other times you don’t. Now you don’t have to choose. Hey, school’s out forever, no more Mrs. Nice Guy. Gives a whole new meaning to sit on it!

Back in the ’80s, Miami Vice was the show that Rockstars wanted to be on. Names like Sheena Easton, James Brown, Phil Collins, Willie Nelson, El Debarge and Gene Simmons got to try out their acting chops alongside Don Johnson. Back then Jon Bon Jovi was still a few years from acting, so he never appeared on the show.
That was then, yesterday Don and Jon hung out together and we got a glimpse of what it would have been like if Sonny Crockett was on the case to arrest bad guy Bon Jovi. What, you think he would have been a good guy. This is our wet dream and we all like bad boys!
