Wayne Newton has a permanent residency in Vegas, but he is being forced to take a few weeks off.
“Unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid after being double vaxxed and boosted,” the singer wrote. “This has caused me to have to cancel some of my shows at the Flamingo Las Vegas. I am deeply sorry to the fans who have purchased tickets and I hope to see them when I am back July 18th. Until then, please stay safe.”
This is not the first time he had to cancel some of his shows recently. He was also forced to do it because of a back injury.
Hopefully, he will be better soon and make his fans happy with his beautiful voice.
Two of the biggest names on the Vegas Strip are Donny Osmond and Wayne Newton. However, the two singers have their own shows, and we never see them together.
But today, we did. What brought the legends together? They ran into each other at the NFL Draft that is taking place there.
Because of their love for football, we scored the touchdown. So, I say to them Danke Schoen for the photo!
Wayne Newton was slated to begin his new show Up Close and Personal at the Flamingo in Las Vegas on October 23rd. Sadly, due to an injury, he has had to postpone it indefinitely.
Due to my recent back injury, we will be temporarily postponing the launch
of our new show at Flamingo Las Vegas. We’re disappointed, but look forward to presenting our all new edition of “Wayne -Up Close and Personal” when I am fully recovered.
We want to give you what you deserve and expect from us, the best show possible. Until then, stay safe and healthy and we’ll see you real soon.
Wayne
Hopefully, he will be better soon because he puts on one of helluva a concert.
Before Wayne Newton was singing to packed audiences in Las Vegas, he was singing to a pack of animals on The Lucy Show. How much to love listening to the 23-year-old singing in that 1965 episode?
Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens is twisting its way to Las Vegas on July 31st and several of the city’s biggest name won’t be in the fifth sequel next year on Syfy. In this sneak peek of the telemovie, we get to see Carrot Top and Vince Neil get gobbled up by the sharks.
I don’t know about you, but that is enough to get me to watch to see what other members of Sin City’s Motley Crue will become shark food. Will you sing Danke Schoen if Wayne Newton is one of them? Not me, I love the crooner and much as I love the Sharknado movies.
