Remember that sexy scene between Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in Ghost when the pottery was not the only thing to get a rise? Well, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg recreate that scene to promote the second season of Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party on VH-1 and you will never watch the inspiration for this promo the same way. That and you will be craving sex, pot and chocolate cake after watching it, which is a good thing if you have all three handy. If you do not, then catch up on their show on the VH1.com or the app and that will help satisfy your longings.
MTV is doing something really strange, they are getting back into music TV by reviving TRL. Carson Daly will not be returning, instead the MTV VJ will be replaced by five different hosts including rapper-comedian DC Young Fly and Chicago radio host Erik Zachary.
The announcement was made yesterday and The New York Times says that it will be on our airwaves in October with a new state of the art studio.
It will be interesting to see how the new generation of MTV viewers will take to hearing music on the network and not teen moms. I welcome it, but then again I have aged out of VH1!
After 8 years of marriage, Heidi Montag’s dream is coming true. Not a divorce from Spencer Pratt, that is our dream. But the loving couple, who actually survived being on more than one reality show, are expecting their first child together.
Speidi told Us Weekly that their child is due on October 19th. Montag has made it clear for a long time that she wanted to be a mother, but her husband was hesitant. Even now, he says he never knows if he will be ready. But he decided to try anyways and almost immediately, they found out they were going to be parents. To Spencer, I know so many people who thought they would never be ready, then the baby comes out and they are more than ready for all that comes with it.
No word yet if they have a Reality show in the works; but if MTV can bring back Fear Factor, why wouldn’t they give these future mommy and daddy one too. I am sure someone will give them one.
Rupert Grint and Ed Sheeran have often been mistaken for one another and there is a very good reason for that. The Harry Potter confessed that they are one in the same. He created the singer as his greatest acting accomplishment to date, and yesterday he told MTV host Josh Horowitz that he cannot do it anymore. He is ready to put his alter ego away forever.
Should we have taken a photograph of Sheeran because he is going away forever? Nope, Horowitz used his magic to convince Grint to divide the personalities once again. Long live Sheeran and Grint.
Have you been wanting to see someone beat up Billy Ray Cyrus since you heard Achy Breaky Heart for the 1 millionth time? Well, you will finally see someone give him the take down of a lifetime and that person is CHiPs Erik Estrada. Plus, it is better than you could’ve ever dreamed of.
When you will see the thing of beauty? Sometime after Miley Cyrus’ dad’s show Still the King debuts on CMT June 12th.
In all seriousness, Still the King looks so wacky, fun and outrageous that I can’t wait to see it. It looks like such a hootenanny, you might forget how much you hate his one hit wonder.
Actually, I feel bad about being mean to Billy Ray because I really like him and that song, and I am sincerely looking forward to this zany show!
