The Rock and Kevin Hart are going to host the MTV Movie Awards!
February 19th, 2016 under Kevin Hart, The Rock, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

When the Oscars were looking for a host, I kept saying they should get The Rock and Kevin Hart to do it because they are starring in the movie Central Intelligence together. Well they didn’t hear my request but MTV did. Today, the network that used to air music videos asked the two of them to host the MTV Movie Awards and they said yes. So on April 10th, we will get to see these two bring Bromance to TV and I can’t wait.
Funny how MTV is smarter than the Oscars when it comes to hosts.

Snooki goes short!
January 14th, 2015 under Snooki, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

Snooki‘s hair has pretty much been the same length since we got to know her on Jersey Shore, but now that is no longer the case. The recently married mom of a toddler and a baby has decided to get a much shorter haircut. Gone is the red highlights and locks nearly down to her butt. She now has a dark brown bob that doesn’t even reach her shoulders, and I think it is the perfect hairdo for the mother of two little ones.

Happyland will transport you to the land of happy!
September 30th, 2014 under VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo5d__n4rhM
Buy a ticket for Happyland tonight at 11p on MTV because you don’t want to miss the wild and exciting ride.
Happyland is kind of like Disneyland, so you would think that Lucy (Bianca Santos) would love that she grew up there? She hates it and the teenager can’t wait to get out of there. I bet you are wondering why she spent her whole life there then? Well her mother, Elena (Camille Guaty), started working there as a teen and that is when and where she met Lucy’s estranged father. The two had an affair that led to Lucy and Elena has been working there ever since. When it comes to her dad, Lucy has never met him and she knows nothing about him.
Not only does Elena still work there as a Princess, Lucy also works there but behind the scenes at the park. There is a new character actor, and he is making her life really hard. Ian (Shane Harper) came to work stoned, and he gets so overcome by the heat of being in the suit that he passes out during a live performance. Lucy is so mad that she can’t stand him. That is until she sees him without his suit on. Now there is something between the two.
Ian’s mess up is even more infuriating to Lucy because the owner of the park has come back to work there. So she wants to make the best impression and Ian is doing the complete opposite. But since he is the boss’ son, I am sure it will be OK for him. Something Lucy doesn’t know.
The next day Ian is promoted from raccoon to Prince Charming. He is supposed to perform with Elana, but when she doesn’t show up Lucy must step in for her. By doing that, it will cost Lucy something that is very important to her and she will not be happy with her mom.
Even though it cost Lucy something she really wanted, she now finds herself wanting Ian. Something her mother is vehemently against and Lucy doesn’t know why her mom wants to wreck her life.
Then in the middle of a heated argument Elena will admit something beyond shocking to her daughter. I am not going to tell you what it is because you need to see and hear it for yourself.
Once you do, you are going to love this show as much as I do. It is unlike anything you have ever seen on television. What other show takes you behind the scenes of what it is like to work in an amusement park and the people working there. None! Then throw in all the soapy goodness that goes with it and you will be in a happy land. So you can say that Happyland is the most perfectly titled show out of all the new ones this season.
So tune in tonight and every Tuesday at 11p for a show that is as exciting as a roller coaster.

Tonight’s Finding Carter will blow you away
September 2nd, 2014 under VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p, Finding Carter will leave you speechless.
Carter (Kathryn Prescott) and Crash (Caleb Ruminer) are on the run and she doesn’t know that she has been cleared of all charges from her arrest. The two of them are on the road with very little money, a gun he bought for protection and nowhere to go; but they are in a car and they will keep driving until they stop. Their first stop will bring Carter to a familiar place, the last place she lived with her mom (Milena Govich). While she is there, she finds a clue from her mom and she knows she has to get a message to her.
Meanwhile, Carter’s biological mom (Cynthia Watros), puts out an Amber alert on her and Carter finds out she did it. Therefore, Crash and she decide to ditch their phones, so that they won’t be tracked.
Now with no phones, how will she be able to get a message to her mom? She convinces Crash to go back to Fairfax, and use Max as the intermediary.
But something goes wrong and someone gets shot. Carter will have to make a decision, should she stay or should she go? What will she do?
You just have to watch this gut-wrenching episode to find out. You really don’t want to want to miss it because the editing on the shooting scene will leave you silent. Actually, the whole episode will keep you on the edge of your seat, and very few shows this summer have been able to do that as well as this one.
If you’ve never seen this original unpredictable series, then you can catch up on it on the MTV app. I promise it is well worth binge watching to get caught up.

The cast of Finding Carter preview tonight’s game changing episode!
August 12th, 2014 under VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

Last week on MTV’s Finding Carter, Carter (Kathryn Prescott) finally saw her mom for the first time since she was taken away from her on that fateful day in jail. Tonight at 10p, she has to decide whether or not to go with the woman (who abducted her and) raised her or does she stay with her family that is blood?
Today, I talked to the cast of MTV’s newest hit about the episode and Jesse Henderson, who plays Gabe said, “There are a lot of revelations in tonight’s episode. There are things that exposed.” What is exposed, he couldn’t tell me.
But the show’s title star was a little more forthcoming about it. She said that her character will spend the whole episode trying to decide whether or not she should run away with her mom or stay with her family. A decision that is made much harder because it is her twin sister, Taylor (Anna Jacoby-Heron), and her 17th birthday, and all The Wilsons want to do is celebrate it together for the first time in 14 years. As Carter spends the day with her family, she has flashbacks to her time with her mom and Prescott said, “It’s making her think that maybe Lori isn’t the person she thinks she was. Maybe these new people are more worthy than she thought they were.” By the end of the episode, she makes a decision. Will she stay or will she go?
The only hint that Milena Govich, who plays Carter’s mom, Lori, would say about the decision is, “I think the audience is going to be surprised by how Carter really reacts and what she chooses to do about it.”
The episode is not only about Carter, another big plot point is addressed tonight. Kyle (Eddie Matos) has been pressuring Carter’s Elizabeth (her biological mom) to make a decision, to choose him or her husband. Matos told me that three-way comes to a head tonight. He shared with me, “There’s going to be a run in between Kyle and David that is going to be pretty exciting.” That run in will play out for the next few episodes. I’d hate to be Elizabeth because it would be hard to choose between those two men. Who am I kidding? If I were her, I would chose Kyle, Gabe’s dad. Who would you pick?
And who do you think Carter will pick? You just have to tune in this intoxicating drama tonight at 10p on MTV to find out.
BTW the cast loves reading your reactions on Twitter; so Tweet them about the episode and let them know what you thought.
