Finally. To anyone who says that people who make their living in Hollywood have no business speaking out against politicians and their policies, I say why? You don’t have to be in show business to speak out about tv shows, movies, and music.
You know how people say that celebrities should not talk about politics? Well, Ken Olin said something that should shut those people up. The Thirtysomething star wrote, “To anyone who says that people who make their living in Hollywood have no business speaking out against politicians and their policies, I say why? You don’t have to be in show business to speak out about tv shows, movies, and music.”
If they can talk Hollywood, then the director of This Is Us can talk politics. Right? As long as we are citizens of the United States of America, then anyone can say what they want. Well almost anything, but you get what I mean.
Therefore, if anyone says you cannot talk politics, then tell they cannot talk about whatever you are doing. That is what I am going to say from now on when anyone questions why I am talking politics! What about you?
In case you have been hiding under a rock, then you might not have known that a Crock-Pot killed Jack on This Is Us. Yesterday, when he was on Watch What Happens Live, an audience member wanted to know, “Since the slow cooker incident, are you brave enough to use one?”
His TV death did not scare him away from slow cooking. He has a slow cooker and a Crock-Pot at home and uses it all the time. He likes to make Lentil soup and vegetables with it. Although, he did not mention the show killer’s dish chili.
Then Andy Cohen wanted to know if he would run from a slow cooker and the actor said he would run towards one. Which exactly what Jack did, but that story did not have a happy ending.
We also learned in that post-show Q&A that Ricky Martin is a member of the mile high club. I can totally see that he bangs, he bangs, someone one in a private plane’s bathroom! Surprisingly, he did not get all flush when he admitted that!
Tonight at 9p on NBC, it is finally time for Kate Pearson (Chrissy Metz) and Toby Damon’s (Chris Sullivan) big day on This Is Us! It is the day that was two seasons in the making and it is well worth the wait.
The episode starts off with Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) in current day for the first time on the show. That means we get to see what he would look like with some grey hair and it so works. There is also a very good reason why they brought him back from the dead for it. But I am not going to tell you.
Tonight is also about Kate and her family on her big day. She has her brothers, Kevin (justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K Brown), helping her out. Which seems like a good idea until they lose her. Where did she go? Is she having second thoughts?
She is no the only one, Toby’s parents (Wendie Malick and Dan Lauria) are questioning if she is right for him. Will they sway him to be a runaway groom or will he stand up to them?
All of this will lead up to very heartfelt words from Kevin and Randall for their sister Kate. The Pearson three will always have each other’s backs no matter what. Which is why we love this show and their parents Jack and Rebecca (Mandy Moore).
Sadly after tonight, we will have to wait 6 months for another new episode. Now that is a real reason to cry.

Tonight at 9p on NBC for the time in This Is Us’ history, the show has a standalone episode about a character whose last name is not Pearson. It is all about Deja.
Last week when the episode left off, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) discover Deja (Lyric Ross) is living in a car with her mom. Tonight, we find out her story and her mom’s. Her mom was just 16 when she had Deja and she did not know how to take care of her. Her grandmother helped out until she couldn’t. Once she couldn’t that is when their story really gets sad. After they hit rock bottom, that is when they are saved by the Pearsons. What happens next, you just have to tune in to see in a very powerful episode.
Then at 10p on ABC it is the season finale for Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. Amy (JoAnna Garcia) and Reese (Chloe East) are still trying to figure out what that image is they saw standing next to Kevin on the camera is. Reese thinks it is a ghost, but Amy does not want to hear it.
Meanwhile Yvette (Kimberly Hebert Gregory) realizes her time down on Earth might not be for much longer. She decides to bring in a replacement and Kevin is not in love with Leslie Jones. She is much tougher on him.
Kevin also finds himself going to a funeral and he meets a guy there. Something really weird happens when they hug, but I cannot tell you what until you see it.
While Kevin is helping him, he gets trapped and Yvette cannot help. She goes running to Amy for help, which she does. Amy has no idea she is not human, and she wants to know from Kevin who she is and why she looks like that woman in that image. Will he tell her?
You don’t want to miss the season finale of a feel good show that has most heart. It also ends in such a great cliffhanger, ABC better pick it up for season 2. It is not Kevin’s fault that The Mayor was a bomb and hurt its ratings.
Before Milo Ventimilgia was building houses on This Is Us, he was cleaning them in She’s All That. He looks the same now as he did when he was 21 in that 1999 movie.
